A year had passed since the day I told Jayk goodbye before I left Vegas to start a new life away from him, his friends and David until I received a phone call from back home, a phone call that I never wanted to receive had me changing all my plans just as quickly as I made them. I booked the earliest flight to Vegas which was three hours from now which  gave me plenty of time to pack before I headed to the airport. Several hours passed and I found myself looking around as if it was my first time here, I grabbed my luggage and quickly caught a cab to my mom's house, I was welcomed in open arms before I heard her soft sobs as she cried while I held onto her tightly, nothing was said because I knew if I mentioned his name or talked about him that she would start crying again and I didn't want that even though it was a sad time right now I wanted to see her smiling through the pain.

Luna: I'm going to get a hotel room while I'm here.

Mom: okay sweetheart and while you're here, why don't you see your old friends? I know they will be happy to see you again Luna.

Luna: I will try mom but I can't promise that I will see them...

After I got a room at the hotel, I thought about what my mother said and read the last text he ever sent me which brought me to tears knowing it was the last time we would have ever spoken with each other.

"...I only want to see you happy..."

I was happy just not the way he expected me to be and I knew he was helping Jayk look for a girlfriend that was until I had moved here...

I wiped away the tears from my eyes and done the unimaginable and sent Jayk a message on his Instagram page asking him if he wanted to meet up somewhere which he quickly agreed to do. I found myself sitting near a park bench while waiting for him to arrive which didn't take long...

Jayk: hey Luna, how have you been?

Luna: I've had better days. How about you?

Jayk: can't complain I guess. You don't look to happy, are you okay?

Luna: I'll be fine. Can we go to your place? I really don't want to be out in the public right now.

Jayk: sure but I must warn you first, I'm not living alone.

Luna: it's okay, we can always talk in private.

Jayk: we can talk alone in my room.

I nodded my head in an agreeable motion before we walked towards the place he called home, I seen Drew and TC along with two younger males that I didn't recognize but Jayk introduced me to them all before we went to talk in private...

Jayk: Blake and Devin this is Luna.

Luna: nice meeting you two.

I watched as they both waved but didn't say anything...

Jayk: you remember Drew and TC

Luna: how could I forget, you three were the closest thing to a brother David had...

I tried to fight the tears but it was noticeable that I was upset about David no longer being here.

Luna: I'm sorry...

Drew: for what?

Luna: alot of things...

I felt Jayk wrapping his arm around me and pulling me close.

Jayk: let's go talk about it Luna. Guys could you give us some privacy? 

Drew: I'll make sure they do.

We slowly walked into his room and I sat down in a chair that was next to a desk that sat in a corner...

Jayk: so what's bothering you?

Luna: the real reason I have returned is because well I didn't want to tell you just yet but David was killed in an automobile accident...

Jayk: are you serious? 

Luna: I wish I wasn't...

He didn't say anything else, he just stood up and walked over to me before making me stand up and picking me as he wrapped his arms around my chest after I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my face on his shoulder then started crying

Jayk: it's okay Luna, I am here for you and I always will be.

Luna: I should have never pushed you away, I was just scared... I'm so sorry for everything Jayk.

Jayk: you don't have to apologize Luna, I know you were scared but seeing you meant the world to me even if I didn't know what loving you was like.

Luna: will you come with me to his funeral?

Jayk: of course I will. I just need to know one one thing first...

Luna: what would that be?

Jayk: I know you're staying at a hotel but would consider staying here that way you can save your money? 

Luna: I would love that but I have already paid for a room.

Jayk: oh okay...

Luna: you can stay with me if you like.

Jayk: if that's what you want

Luna: I want you to stay with me.

Jayk: anything for you..
