Sanem: Good luck to you.
Can: Good luck to you.
Both walking away in the same direction.
Sanem: No, I'm leaving first.
Can: No I'm leaving first. I'm the boss Sanem
They stopped and looked at each other annoyed.
Sanem: God, you have said that for the millionth time already. Please take your jacket back thank you and good luck.
Can: Sanem, do not talk to me like that.
Sanem: Why? I'm no longer your employee and you are no longer my boss.
Can: Sanem! That will begin tomorrow. There is still the rest of today ahead.
Sanem: No, I'm done. I'm done double checking everything and I'm done with you giving me these bullshit tasks. I hate that you are giving me all of this doubt in my abilities. You never treated me this way before and now you can't stop. I can't do this.
Can: Sanem, you are making the wrong decision leaving the agency and you know that. It's time to wake up and realize it.
Sanem: Can bey, I can't work here. One more time, I... CAN'T....WORK...HERE!
Can: Sanem do not throw your career away because we aren't together. I won't allow it.
Sanem: Dear God, Can why can't you listen to me. I can't work here and I won't work here. That's it! Finished. Finito.
Can: Sanem, you need to come up with a real reason for not staying. You are just leaving to make me angry.
Sanem: Are you kidding me? I thought I had hit rock bottom that night you yelled at me, but goodness it just keeps going on and on. I'm not just leaving to piss you off. Don't you get it? I'm leaving because I am surrounded by my mistakes constantly. I have the office gossiping about me. I have your mother reminding me of how incompetent I am compared to Polen as if I didn't already know. The only thing I didn't feel terrible about was my job, then you had to change that too. Okay! I get it. I am not enough. I wasn't then and I am not now. Can, I told you I'm not going to try to change your mind about going to the Balkans. By all means, runaway from your problems with Polen. I know you two will be happy together. So please just leave me alone. I'm tired humiliating myself and I need to move on with my life.
Sanem stormed off and went back into the agency to the archive room. If she was going to finish out the work day she was going to do it in peace. Can stood there in shock. He knew everything she said was right but was too stubborn to realize it when it mattered most.
Sanem arrived in archive room both angry and relieved by what she said to Can. She felt such a weight of her shoulders she decided the feeling was too good to go back work. She on the floor against the filing cabinets closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down.
About ten minutes later, she heard Emre knock on the door.
Emre: Sanem, What are you doing down there?
Sanem: Oh, hi Emre bey. I'm just trying to relax. I finally told off your brother... Yeah, my last day will be today. I just can't stay any longer. I will finish up any remaining work I have at home.
Emre: No worries Sanem. I completely understand. Mind if I join you down there?
Sanem: What? Huh, of course.
Emre: I've had a rough day too. I finally told your sister how I felt about her and well I feel not great as well.
Sanem:(she giggled) Yeah, I guess karma finally caught up with us... I"m only joking...okay bad joke. But you know what I mean. We both tried to hard to win the people we want and they just don't want us back.
