It hurts too much.

Can drove to Agva going over everything he learned about Sanem from the book in his head. She was a dreamer. Talented, naive, with a beautiful soul. Of course he could understand why he fell in love with her. Now it was just that he needed to give himself to the time to discover her again naturally. The two of them alone. No distractions, no interruptions, no where for either of them to hide.

Can checked into the hotel and went looking for Sanem. He had no idea where to start. The hotel had all the amenities. Pool, hot tub, trails, river front, fitness classes, spa etc. He wandered around almost in a panic looking for her.

Sanem had been at the hotel for a while trying to relax. She booked just about every treatment at the spa, took a yoga class, and even tried meditation. It was all starting to help. She felt like maybe given time she could move on with her life. Or she could at least try. If Can wasn't getting his memory back maybe that was the way it was meant to be. She decided to write more of her next book contemplating what this time alone would mean for her in the long run. The last thing she expected was to see Can walking towards her from the corner of her eye.

Sanem: Can?

Can: Hi Sanem. Is this a bad time?

Sanem: No it's not. What is going on?

Can: What do you mean?

Sanem: What are you doing here?

Can: I could ask you the same thing.

Sanem: I needed some time to rest.

Can: So do I.

Sanem: Okay, well I'm not stopping you. Please feel free to go do whatever it is you need to do and get your rest.

Can: Well I thought we could rest together.

Sanem: God, I can't believe I'm saying this but Can I came here to be alone.

Sanem was beginning to panic. She was weaning off of her meds with this trip and Can's arrival was not part of the plan. She began looking around before she felt too overwhelmed. When Can interrupted her thoughts.

Can: Do you want me to go?

Sanem: Do you actually want to stay?

Can: I do.

Sanem: Really?

Can: Yes, really. Why would you ask me that?

Sanem: Well let's just say we've have a similar conversation before and it usually ends up nowhere.

Can: Yes Sanem I want to spend time with you if you are okay with it.

Sanem: I'm not sure that's a good idea.

Can: Let's try it just to see what happens.

Sanem: Okay. Well what did you have in mind?

Can: I saw some trails I thought we could go on if you would like.

Sanem: That sounds good to me. Should we go now?

Can: Now is perfect.

They walked through the trails together finding conversation easy. Every once in a while something would happen like Sanem tripping and Can catching her. Little moments they had lived together once before. Sanem couldn't help but feel sad everytime this would happen. Can, on the other hand, was falling in love with her all over again. He was entranced by Sanem. Her spirit, her smell, her smile everything about her made him want to be around her all the time. He couldn't get enough. If he could've added another 2 miles to the trail he would just to spend more time with her. Their time walking together was coming to a close.
