i changed the name of the story from 'your toxic lips' to 'cupid'

10.30 PM

i sat down next to payton on my bed, "here." i said and put pack of frozen peas on his eye. it was very bruised and swollen. i felt so bad for him.

"thank you." he smiled and put his hand on it.

"are you feeling better?" i asked, "a little bit yeah. it's really not that big of a deal." he said and sat up

"it is payton. he punched you!" i said, "you don't have to remind me." he said

"i'm sorry.." i answered.

he put his hand on mine intertwining our fingers.

"i meant it when i said i love you. i've loved you this entire time." he said

"i don't get it.." i said looking down

"get what?" he asked

"you broke up with me, payton you broke my heart, and i did nothing to you. nothing!" i said louder starting to get emotional

"sky.. i-i'm sorry, as i told you it was a mistake." he said

i pulled my hand away from his, "you don't break up with someone as a mistake, a mistake is when you accidentally do something wrong, not when you throw away a 3 year old relationship." i said louder

"sky, please.." he said

"no!" i yelled and stood up, "what did i ever do to you?!" i asked as a tear started forming in my eye

he took a deep breath, "it was brooke. she told me you cheated on me." he said

brooke was a girl that would pick on me, every single day, ever since i started school in first grade.

"what?! brooke? are you serious?" i yelled, " you broke up with me, because of brooke" i said laughing, "that's so fucking stupid payton." i added

"i know it is. that's why i'm telling you that it was a mistake." he said, he moved himself to sit on the edge of the bed, he held my hands and looked up at me

"i made a huge mistake and i know that. i know i broke your heart. but i also broke my own heart." he said

i looked at him, "i don't know what to say payton. you really messed up. big time." i said

"i know.." he said, he pulled me down to sit on his lap, he intertwined our fingers and looked in my eyes

"i won't do it again. ever. i promise." he said

i looked at his lips then his eyes, "i don't know what to say." is all i could say

he leaned in closer, "i just want one more chance, that's all i want." he said

i looked into his shining brown eyes, i couldn't stand being mad at him, but he really broke up with me because of that, sorry for my language, but that bitch!

"please." he whispered into my ear and softly kissed my neck.

"payton.." i whispered, "what" he whispered continuing to kiss my neck

"this isn't right.." i whispered having a hard time concentrating

"shh." he whispered, he quickly moved my body so i was laying on the bed, him on top of me.

he was so close to me i could feel his heartbeat

"payton i don't kn-" before i could finish my sentence he smashed his lips into mine, i couldn't help but kiss him back,  he held his hands on my hips and pushed my hips against him, making me moan and letting his tongue slip into my mouth.

it was one hour later and me and payton had been laying in my bed since, well.. since whatever happened just happened.

i don't even remember how it started, all i know is i'm back in paytons arms. i just don't know if that is where i belong. i couldn't help but think about chase.

i know we only dated for a few months, but it was a great few months.

he never made me sad or mad, he did everything for me and i just broke up with him. just like that.

it wasn't fair. but he isn't the chase i know anymore.

"sky?" payton said, "yeah?" i asked and looked at him

"do you love me?" he asked

i didn't know what to answer. i mean, of course i love him but.. it's just not that simple

"i don't know payton.." i said

"i know i hurt you, but.."

"but what?" i asked

"but you were my first love, and i've never loved anyone but you." he finished

"i don't know what you want me to say.." i said

"sky, honestly? we just.. are you really willing to throw away everything we built the last 3 years?" he said, i could tell tears were forming in his eyes

"sky, i fucking love you."
