i just came home from the park. after the kiss i hurried home, i didn't even say goodbye, i just left.
i had never been so confused in my entire life. the same thing replayed in my thoughts all the time.

i haven't talked to chase or payton for three months, i cut things off with payton the night chase kissed me. i've seen them around school but i would always walk right past them and after a few weeks they got the message. that i needed time.
i haven't spoken to any boys the time i've spent thinking about payton and chase, i really wanted to give myself time. i was tired of depending on these two boys that both could break my heart in seconds. i just hated the fact that they had that power over me. i wanted to be independent.

"hey girl." madi said and sat next to me in class, "whats up?" i asked and smiled
"have you seen the new guy? he's so hot." she said leaning closer to me
"nope, and not interested." i said chuckling
as i said that madi's eyes got a bit wide as she looked up at the door, what was she looking at?
i looked in the same direction to see the most handsome guy i've ever seen.
he had the brightest blue ocean eyes and dark hair with dark eyebrows and a sharp jaw.
i've never seen anyone look so perfect before. ever.
as i nearly drooled while looking at him, we locked eyes and he cracked a shy smile.
i blushed and quickly looked down.
sky, focus, you told yourself you wouldn't let a boy get in the way. don't let this boy.
i slightly looked up again to see the teacher pointing in the direction of me and talking to the boy, before i knew it he sat right next to me.
for the next 45 minutes i did everything i could to avoid looking at him, or even in his direction.
i was actually stunned by how beautiful he was.
he didn't even look real, that's how beautiful he was.
as i finally got the courage to look at him without making it too obvious, he was already looking at me.
and another smile cracked from his lips. wow.
"hi. i'm ian, ian somerhalder." he said.
