21 Neso of the year 12976(210 years since Korbin's birth)

Elysia's Pov

"What?" I turn to face Aveyard who's grinning like an idiot. He knows I love babies. I know he does too. He loves children. "Nia gave birth yesterday?"

"Baby!" I run towards Lady Nia and Lord Phrys' rooms. Aveyard follows closely but overtakes me due to having longer legs.

Along our way, we come across Colt and Father. I skid to a stop. Colt asks what put a large grin on my face. He pulls me into a hug and kisses the top of my head. I wrap my arms around him and sigh. I love this male. Colt lets go and Father pulls me into his embrace. With a kiss on top of my head.

"Lady Nia gave birth yesterday,"

Colt's expression turns surprised. "She did?"

I nod. "Aveyard and I are going to ask to see the baby,"

"Can I come," Colt grins, bouncing lightly on the balls of his feet. He pauses and turns to Father, who nods.

Father smiles and shakes his head. "Wish Lady Nia and Lord Phrys all the best,"

"We will," I yell as I drag Colt by the hand the way Aveyard went.

When we arrive at Lady Nia and Lord Phrys' rooms Aveyard is already talking with Lord Phrys. Colt and I greet the Lord. Who greets us in return.

"I hear from Prince Aveyard you want to see my baby,"

"If you would allow it," I smile sweetly.

"Of course," Lord Phrys smiles and allows us to enter. Sitting on the floor by their bed Lady Nia is watching their baby.

Oh my. The baby is so cute. Oh, the tuft of hair is so white. Oh, my spirits. It's swaddled in a beautiful blue blanket. It looks like one Mother gave each of the ladies in the court.

Lord Phrys calls out to his wife. Nia looks up and smiles at us. She greets us with a nod before turning back to her baby. "Princess Elysia, Prince Aveyard and Lord Colt are here to see Thean."

Lord Phrys leads us in and we take a seat around Lady Nia and Thean. Baby Thean softly snores. Doesn't even mind us talking. So much different from Aveyard. We had to be very quiet when Aveyard was sleeping.

"He is so cute Nia," Colt says smiling at Thean.

"Look at his tuft of hair,"

"Can I hold him?" Aveyard asks. He emits wonder and glee. He can't look happier. I doubt he will have the same amount of happiness until he has a child...or several.

"Of course," Lady Nia picks up baby Thean and hands him to Aveyard. Gingerly Aveyard accepts the small infant. Thean doesn't seem to mind being held. Some baby's don't like being held all the time. Some love it.

If possible Thean makes Aveyard look larger than he already is. Thean doesn't bat an eyelash as Aveyard hands him over to Colt. Both seem comfortable with the other.

"When are the two of you going to tie the knot?" Lord Phrys asks as he shifts closer to his wife.

"Last year. While you were in Gaerwn," Colt says cooing at Thean.
