(Shirai Ryu Reader)(Y/n) had been a valuable asset to the Shirai Ryu clan for sometime now, though she was one of the later members joining, she still held her place fairly well. Everyone in the clan gladly excepted her expertise in the arts of healing without any healing abilities. She could teach those without powers of their own, becoming a master of sorts to many young apprentices.
After running off to China, away from an abusive husband, (y/n) found herself lost in an frost covered forest, pleading for someone to help. Luckily her cries were heard, and a handsome man burst from a tornado of flames in a mesmerizing way. The heat from the flames were comforting against the colder weather, and damn were they beautiful.
The man, whom the female later learned was named Hanzo Hasashi, gave her a helping hand all those years ago and even helped her escape her husband's clutches.
Now the female stood beside a sick child with the simple symptoms of irritating coughing and a scratchy throat. "Don't worry, dear, the symptoms will subside with plenty of sleep and water. It is important to stay hydrated and well rested, especially when sick."
The young child, about the age of six, kicked his legs and puckered his lips in a goofy expression. "I don't want water though, it doesn't taste good!" The sweet child whined. "Can't I have some tea instead?"
"You have a scratchy throat correct?" The little boy nodded, his legs still kicking the air as he sat on a bamboo chair. "Okay then, you can have a glass of hot tea when you get home, but water after that, understood?"
The little boy grumpily nodded and hopped off the bed. "Hiro, would you like me to take you home and make some tea for you? I know your mother and father are assisting Grandmaster Hasashi on his mission."
Hiro turned around and sheepishly nodded, not wanting to walk around alone. "Yes please!" He smiled and extended his hand, in which (y/n) gladly accepted.
"Alright, lets take you home sweetheart." (Y/n) lovingly said, sliding open the door of the clinic to allows the two to walk out into the open. The female took a deep breath of the clean air and shut the door after they exited the building. "Lead the way Hiro."
The little boy nodded, giving off a dry cough, and then started to walk off with (y/n)'s hand within his own. The pair passed through the maze like pathways of the Shirai Ryu fire garden and to the outskirts of the village where the child's home resided. "Alright Hiro, how about we go make you some of that tea you love so much?"
Hiro jumped with joy and rushed inside, coughing a few times here and there. "Come inside (y/n), the kitchen is to the left."
(Y/n) followed the child and did as told, now taking out the necessary things for the making of tea. The female mashed the tea leaves for a few minutes and then put them in a small pot of boiling water. As the steam rose from the tea pot, commotion was making itself clear outside.
(Y/n) turned her head to where she thought the noise was coming from. "Hiro, do you know how to finish this?" The boy nodded. "Alright, I'm going to go and see what this ruckus is about, please don't burn yourself." Hiro replied with a hum as she left the house and attempted to find what was wrong, though the problems had found her first.
"(Y/n)! We need you at the clinic, there has been an attack on the Lin Kuei and they need healing!" One of the male apprentices approached (y/n) pulling her to a crowd of people that had formed in the Shirai Ryu fire garden. There laid few men and women from the Lin Kuei, and Kuai Liang himself amongst them. (Y/n) rushed to their sides, other apprentices assisting the wounded to the clinic.
