I laid in bed and stared at the ceiling for what felt like hours. Someone knocked on my door and I just laid there. Sierra cracked it open and then walked in when she saw me. She sat on the foot of the bed, neither of us said anything but she grabbed my hand.
"Crystal should be here soon, okay?" I nodded my head in response and laid it in her lap.
I started bawling again, "I don't understand. He fucking lied to me. Every single song. The damn engagement, and the wedding plans. Every "I love you forever." All lies." Sierra just stroked my hair,
"You'll be okay, baby," she paused for a second, "maybe he needs time to figure out who he is, yeah?"
I sat up and grabbed his hoodie, balling up into my lap, "Yeah."
Minutes after, Crystal popped her head into my room, "Hey hon," she softly said. I fell forward onto my bed and sighed. They both wrapped their arms around me and we laid there for awhile. We hung out for awhile. Crystal ordered pizza and Sierra brought a bunch of snacks. "You literally have like no food in this house," Crystal said while putting things in the kitchen.
"I know," I said, "I don't eat here very much. I'm always working."
A little bit later we watched some of my favorite movies and did facemasks and things to make me feel better. They left when I said that I was feeling better, but I really just wanted to be alone. I hate lying to my best friends, but what the hell am I supposed to do?
