~The One With The Blackout 2~

Joey was sitting on the chair while Ross was talking to Rachel. Joey looked like he had a lot to say but was saying none. I was sitting on the floor in front of him with my back to the chair while he was sprawled across the chair. Ross walks over after talking to Rachel. Looking very pleased with himself

"It's never gonna happen" Joey tells him

"What?" Ross asks innocently

"You and Rachel" Joey says

"What?" Ross asks surprised then gets serious

"Why not?" He asks

"Because you waited too long to make your move, and now you're in the friend zone." Joey says

"Dun. Dun. DUNNN."

"Exactly right Ness" Joey say

"Thank yOW! Ross!?" Ross slapped me with Monica's wooden spoon

"No, no, no, I'm not in the zone." Ross says

"Ross, you're mayor of the zone." Joey says I laugh. Hard. So hard in fact that if it weren't for Joey catching me falling I probably would've died from my head burning from me whacking the table and causing a candle to fall on me and burn me to death

"Woah, careful. You okay?" Joey asks

"Thank you for not letting me burn"

"What?"

"What?"

"I'm taking my time, alright? I'm laying the groundwork. Yeah. I mean, everyday I get just a little bit closer to..."

"Priesthood! Look Ross, I'm telling you, she has no idea what you're thinking. If you don't ask her out soon you're going to end up in the zone forever" Joey cuts him off

"Forever" I repeat from behind Joey, Ross looks at me with his hand about to whack me

"Ness, I swear"

"Agh de blur, I'm sorry!" I say gripping on to Joeys biceps from behind and shoving my face in his back.

"I will ask her out. I will. I will. See, I'm waiting for the right moment" Ross says and my head is resting on Joeys shoulder and we both look at Ross

"What? What now?" Ross asks, seeing our faces

"Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaahh! What's messing you up? The wine? The candles? The moonlight?-"

"Ness" Ross says cutting Joey off. I stick my tongue at Ross and then practically hug Joey from behind knowing Ross is gonna kill me. Joey brings me in from behind him and snakes my waist and rests his head on my shoulder, almost in my neck.

"You've just got to go up to her and say, 'Rachel, I think that....'-" Rachel walks in

"Shhhhhhh!" Ross says

"What are you shushing?" Rachel asks

"We're shushing because....we're trying to hear something. Listen. Don't you hear that?" Ross says sounding insane

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Rachel says still not hearing anything.

"See!" Ross says

"Huh." She agrees confused and walks back outside. Ross starts pacing around the couch and Phoebe gets her guitar out and sits on the couch. Joey is still in the same position.

"Please don't move, I am very warm"

"Oh, so you like being this close huh?" Joey says and I can hear the smirk playing on his lips
