I got home around 9 and thankfully my friends didn't want to spend the night with me, they understood that I just wanted to be left alone.

Somehow in my state of emotional wreckage I found my way in my mother's liquor cabinet. I grabbed the first bottle my hand could get, it was a bottle of white whine, huh it was actually named Martinique's. I poured myself glass after glass. It was actually pretty good, probably the best whine I've ever tasted.

By the time I was half way through the bottle being home alone wasn't appealing anymore. I knew I couldn't call Kacy and Alexandra back over they probably were exhausted and in my state I knew better than driving to anywhere.

Stumbling over to the kitchen I spotted Jace's bike through the window. Maybe I should go say hi that wouldn't hurt.

"knock....knock"
Standing in front of the wooden door I started to have second thoughts, Jace and I aren't even friends what was I doing here? But before I could walk away the door swung open and I was greeted by my neighbor, Aunty Charity.

She was a short woman with wavy, golden hair. She had the most beautiful eyes that you could lose yourself in. Now that I was staring at her she did look alot like Jace.

"Dear are you ok?" she asked me with a half smile and for a moment there I remembered it was 9 pm and I was practically drunk at her front door, of course I wasn't ok.

"I'm great, is Jace inside...we um have a project working on and.... we had to meet immediately to discuss it.."

"Come in, come in. I didn't know you guys were friends, he didn't mention it" she said as she showed me in. "He doesn't mention alot to me but he could've at least told me he was friends with my pumpkin...I didn't even think he had friends" she mumbled with a frown.

Yes I was her Pumpkin that's what she called me, I really liked it but never admitted it to her. Jace and I weren't friends but I couldn't toss him under the bus, "Its not that big of a deal, it must have slipped him" I said to her with a soft smile which she returned.

"Go straight up and take the first left" she said as she directed me to Jace's room. She didn't have to though I probably spent half my life in that room. Most times when mom got caught up with work I stayed with Aunty Charity and I would normally sleep in her guestroom. She was practically family and I could see how excited she was about Jace and I being friends.

Jace's door was open so I didn't bother to knock and thank God I didn't. I walked in and was blessed by the sight of Jace's naked body rapped in a small towel just below his V-line. I couldn't help but stare.

"Take a picture it lasts longer" he said with the biggest possible smirk.

"I would but I left my phone" I said as I pouted my lips.

He chuckled and it sent static waves down my spine. "What are you doing here?"

"Well I came to talk to you" I said as I struggled to walk over to the bed. I soon found myself tripping over my own feet. Before my face collided with the carpet Jace grabbed me, pulling me against his solid chest.

By the time my feet regained consciousness I was already too close to Jace. His hair was dripping wet and as I looked up at him droplets of water fell onto my face. I felt the heat creeping on my skin as it brushed against his. He carried his thumb to my face and whipped the water away. I shuttered under his touch. His pink perfect lips were so close....
Snap out of it Moya.

In efforts to pull away my hand knocked his towel to the ground.
"Oh my gosh" escaped my almost numb lips, I could feel my eyes widen. My feet on the other hand were frozen. Suddenly all the alcohol vanished from my system and my hands covered my face, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" I squealed still frozen to the spot. I heard him laughing and felt my cheeks flushed.

After about standing there for 5 minutes he chuckled "Its safe to look Martinique"

"Are you sure?"

"Come on and stop being a baby" he said as he pulled my hands from my face. I probably was red as a tomato and Jace seemed to notice. "It's not like you haven't seen someone's dick before" he laughed.

"Well...I technically ha..ve..n't.."

"So wait you're telling me your a virgin??"

"I'm not...well I am but th.." Before I could even finish he started to laugh uncontrollably I started to wonder why I would've ever decided to come visit him.

"Laugh all you want, I may not have seen alot of dicks but I kinda expected a little more from you" that was a complete lie, Jace was bigger than I would've ever expected I still haven't figured out how he keeps all that in his pants.

"Wow cute comeback Martinique, weak but cute. Now other than just sexually harassing me what did you want?"

I sat on the bed and took a deep breath.

"Its about Nick" I said and noticed his jaw clench. Before hey got any assumptions I told him about what Nick said today. I was desperate for advice but what he said was a little unexpected.

"If you think he meant what he said today and you're ready to give him another chance why don't you?"

I couldn't answer that... Something was holding me back, fear. Jace walked over to me and sat, "Moya if he makes you happy then go for it, but if you know he doesn't stop telling yourself he doesn't." he said while turning my face to his.

Nick does make me happy....he always has.

"Thanks Jace" I said as I jumped from the bed, "I'm definitely going to call him."

For some reason Jace seemed confused but managed to say "Sure thing Martinique, once you're drunk and having boyfriend issues just call me." I knew he was being sarcastic and I really didn't understand the sudden change in his attitude but I refused to mention it.

"If you're finished, get the fuck out..." he growled.

"Keep your dick in your pants" I said as I glared at him. I noticed his raised eyebrow and suddenly remembered the incident that happened early.

"I didn't mean that your dick can't fit in.... I meant...um.. Good night!" I rambled before running out his room and letting myself out through the front door.

I finally made it to my room, as I laid on the bed I couldn't help but think of Nick, I was actually ready to forgive him. I wanted him....again.
