I'd gone almost the entire class without saying a word to Jace but that didn't stop him from talking. He went on about what system we'll be doing and what day we'll be working on it.

"Lets do the digestive system, it's pretty easy and won't take up too much time" he said.

"How about we do the endocrine system so we can find out why you're so hormonal and moody!" I finally snapped at him. How dare him just speak to me as if everything was good between us, last time I checked he literally told me to get the fuck out his room, then asks my bestfriend out on a date and then glared at Nick and I after he told me to get back with him. He was so confusing and I really had enough.

Before he even answered I got up and went to the restroom, anywhere was better than biology class right now. I decided not to go back to class, I just waited it out in the girls locker room as I changed for practice. Soon after I saw Kacy and Alexandra made their way into the room and the remaining members of the team followed behind.

"Aren't you early..." Alexandra said as she took her top off.

"I had an early dismissal" I half lied, they didn't really need to know the details right now.

Practice was pretty intense because we had a game coming up Friday night. Our football team was pretty good but most persons only went to their games to see us perform. By the end of practice we perfected our pyramids after tumbling over a couple times.

"Go Panthers!!" we cheered before heading back to the lockers.

I was exhausted and my hair was soaked. I didn't bother to change I just grabbed my bag and headed to my car. To my surprise Nick was already there waiting for me. I felt a little exposed in my really tiny shorts, crop top and my sneakers.

"Hey, how was practice?" I asked him as I tipped and placed a kiss on his jaw.

"It was good. What happened to you in bio class?"

"I just had a really bad tommy ache....I'm ok now though"

"And you're sure it had nothing to do with Jace?"

"What...absolutely not" Nick already didn't like Jace and I really didn't want them fighting again so I said what I had to. He carried me into a hug and placed a kiss on my forehead before telling me he had to go work on his project with Tiffany. I cringed at the idea but smiled at him as he walked over to his car.

.....

Stepping into my house a delicious scent slapped me in the face. Mom cooking dinner was a very rare sight and smell. Of course she was an amazing cook but she was always busy with work to cook we normally would order something to eat. As I approached the kitchen a familiar sound filled my ear, Jace.

"Mom?"

"In here sweetie!" she called to me as I stepped in the kitchen, "Look who decided to join us for dinner."

I looked over to the kitchen table to see Jace and my mom sitting and laughing as if they we're in deep conversation. Jace avoided eye contact with me and he's lucky he did because I would've killed him with one glare. I informed mom that I was going to get cleaned up and be right back. After a long warm shower I almost forgot about the little devil sitting downstairs with my mom but I soon remembered him when I got into my room.

"Woah, you should wear a towel more often" I jumped at the sound of Jace's voice in my room. He was sitting on my bed looking pretty comfortable.

"What do you want?" I hissed at him. He got up and walked over to me, I felt my knees shaking as he got closer. His eyes were just as beautiful as his mom's, they were like blue daggers stabbing my soul but I didn't want them to stop. He brought his hand up to my face and tucked my hair behind my ear. I felt a gasp leave my lips and I knew he heard it too. A smirk took over his face as he carried his lips to my ear. My eyes closed as his hot breath played with my ear.

"Your mom said dinner's ready"

"wh..what..?"

He stepped away from me and my eyes flew open as he let out a laugh and left me standing in my room confused.

Hormonal confused moody dick head.

I grabbed a simple white dress that stopped right above my knee and brought my hair up in one.

Dinner was awkward, for me at least. Mom and Jace talked as if they knew each other for ages, I'm sure they forgot I was at the table too. By the time I was finished with my baked chicken and veggies both Jace and mom were finished. I stood and started clearing the table but mom interrupted me, " Come on now I got this, go catch up with Jace." I wanted to tell her no a million times but I knew she wouldn't listen so I just nodded and agreed.

Jace grabbed my hand and took me outside to the porch. What was going on with him? As soon as we were out of my mom's sight I jerked my hand out his.

"What's your problem?" he asked me with a confused face.

"My problem??? You're the one who throw me out your room then showed up at my house!" I whispered shout at him.

"What? You're the one who barged in my room drunk and practically undressed me then 10 minutes later you wanna be with Nick!" He shouted at me. I never had someone shouting at me before but he didn't need to know that.

"I didn't undress you that was a mistake and you know it!"

"Sure that's why you stood and stared at me with your hungry eyes!" For some reason his sentence cut me deeper than I would've expected.

"Get off my porch..." His eyes where a little shocked at my respond but his face didn't show it.

"Gladly." He huffed before walking over to his house and slamming the door behind him. I went inside and slammed mine even harder. Mom stuck her head from the kitchen but before she could asked me anything I ran to my room and closed the door. I fell onto my bed and tears started to fall down my cheeks. Jace was awful and I wanted nothing to do with him. I'll do the project on my own, I'll skip biology class and get my note from Nick. I can't deal with Jace and his mood swings I rather stay away before one hit me too hard.
