I closed my locker as I put my backpack and headed for the door. I swung the door open and rushed towards the bus stop. My usual bus was there, bus #99. I reached into my pocket and pulled out what little money I had left after giving most of it to Cody. I entered the bus and handed the bus driver the crisp money. Slowly, I walked to the back of the bus, I sat down next to a teenage girl, who looked pregnant, which was strange because I was only 16. She looked around my age so I guess she was a teen mom. She must have caught me looking because after I turned my head she shouted, "Hey! Kid what you looking at?! Never seen a pregnant teen before?!" I looked at her in shock. A vein popped out of her neck, she looked infuriated, "S-sorry..." I mumbled, "What was that kid?!" She kept staring at me, "S-sorry!" Her face was getting redder by the minute, "Kid speak up!" She yelled. This continued until the bus creaked to a stop, a row of battered houses aligned the street. The teenager then got up and walked out of the bus, stomping while walking out. I took a deep breath, and suddenly regretted it. The scent of fast food flooded the air. Suddenly I started feeling nauseous as my stomach started feeling as if it were inside out, "Gah!" I said as the man with fast food came towards me, "What's wrong kid? Can't handle a little fast food smell?" He smiled as he sat down next to me, I tried holding my breath as the scent grew stronger, he opened the box to what looked like a hamburger. It's chemical juices were leaking out of its sides as the bun became soaked with blood after not being cooked all the way through. I gagged again before getting to my stop. I jumped out of the bus doors and ran inside the building I dreaded the most, the prison.
