I ran inside of the eerie looking place, as I came across the guard who I mostly saw whenever I came to this dreadful place, "Hey Daniel!" He said while smiling, "So you're here to see Zach again, I'm guessing?" He said while patting me down, "Yeah today's my day to check on him. Since Tiffany is still too young to check on him." I said while looking down at him, "Isn't she a teenager now though?" He replied in confusion, "Well yeah, but still! I don't want her to see her oldest brother in jail because of a mistake he made in his life." He was right though, my sister is 14 she can almost take care of herself, but on the other hand me and my mom told her that he ran away. I have debated countless of times in my mind if I should tell her the truth or not, since I have been getting worried about her lately. She has been acting like...Zach...she's been coming home late, when she does decide to come home she has scars all over her face. Once I even burst out into tears because of it, my little sister who used to wear pink dresses everyday and purple bow ties in her hair. Now has beanies on her head, wears ripped jeans, with the additional blood on her face and clothes just splattered everywhere, and I don't want to deal with another person like Zach! As soon as the guard was done looking me over, he sent me on my way to go find Zach. As I get past the lobby doors the scent of dried blood hits my face, I didn't gag this time since I've smelled it 100 times before, I kept walking and heard laughter coming from the cells. I knew what was going on, they were laughing because they didn't think I was stupid enough to come back. Every time I did, they...would get...too...close, I learned that the hard way, but I don't want to think about that day. Anyway, I kept walking down the narrow hallway while the sound of laughter flooded my ears, until I got to my brothers cell, "H-hey Z-Zach ," I stutter as he gives me a death glare, he stayed silent but I knew something was wrong. The smell of fresh blood lingered near his cell. I knew though that, that blood smell, was coming from down the hall. I rushed over to the end of the corridor to see Levi getting tossed around by the guards, who seemed to think that was a game, "W-what are you doing to him?!" I shouted with a small quiver in my voice as tempted tears filled my eyes. The guards imminently let him go and ran off, all while still laughing sadistically. I ran up to Levi, his chest was cut with what seemed to be a box cutter. Jagged initials carved on his chest, the initials being 'JP' and 'MA'. Blood pouring out of his wounds. I turned his face so that he would look at me, one of his eyes were shut I'm guessing because of the long, blood covered scar aligning his ocean blue eye, "L-Levi?!" I stuttered, "A-are you o-okay?!" I heard a small crack in his voice as he looked down and answered, "Yeah, I'm fine, shortie." He said with what sounded like a small shake in his voice, "They do that all the time so, I've gotten used to it." My heart stopped, it felt as if suddenly bearing this was like 1,000 bricks holding me down, "W-what..." I said while shaking. Levi looked down and said softly, "I'm in here because of a deal that went wrong." He said while still looking down, "I was just supposed to get rid of that ONE PERSON." He shouted as he started growling with every word he spoke. His face stayed down, "WHY CAN'T I DO ONE THING RIGHT?!" I backed away as he got up, "L-Levi a-are you o-okay?" Levi looked up, with a blank expression, "I'm fin~" was the last thing he said before he dropped into my arms. I made him look at me again, his eyes were rolling into the back of his head, "L-LEVI!" I screamed while putting him on my back, he was heavy and his warm blood was seeping through his black T-shirt. I started running while the other inmates laughed, "DUMBASS!" They said, "HE'S GONNA DIE!" I started tuning them out as I ran to the guard at the front door. Tears in my eyes as he called the ambulance.
