Chapter 17: Heartbreak

A week after Cody's death

Billie's POV
After my brother died, me and Tiffany didn't stay together. She wanted me to do things that I couldn't even imagine.

Flashback to an hour after Cody's death

"Billie, so your getting the glass eye right?" I looked over to Tiffany. She was dressed in her usual school outfit. She also had black converse's. I looked her in the eyes, "I'm not sure." I replied as I looked down at my feet, "What?!" She said in anger while she looked at me infuriated, "Yeah, Cody was talking to me recently when I brought up the eye thing. He said that it would be more natural to wear an eye patch." "Screw what he says!" Tiffany screamed as I looked at her with a confused look on my face, "He hurt Daniel and Levi. He made fun of Daniel. And you still accept him as a brother!" I just kept listening to her in total silence as tears filled my eyes, and my eye brows furrowed. "I would never want a brother like that! If Daniel hurt others like that I wouldn't listen to a single word of his advice!" "SHUT UP!" I shouted. I couldn't take it anymore, my brother just suffered a tragic fate. Why? Because my girlfriend didn't know how to dodge! Yet she still has the audacity to call my brother a monster?! If anything she's the monster! "I am?" Tiffany asked with disbelief captured perfectly in her voice. I couldn't believe it, she heard everything I said. "You should shut up! Your related to him that's why! Oh my god! Why the fuck did I even agree to date you? Your such a bitch!" "Says the bitch herself!" I screamed as Tiffany looked at me with a worried expression. The thing that scared me about her face though, was the fact that she was looking at me, the way I looked at my father. Looked at my father. At my father. My father. Father, I don't even know the meaning of the word anymore. Just like that, me and Tiffany got into a heated argument, until the words finally escaped my mouth.

Daniel's POV
Levi and I were sitting next to each other when we heard Billie and Tiffany fighting. We quickly ran over as Billie said those words... "We should break up." She said as Tiffany stopped talking and started running away. I chased after her as Levi ran up to Billie to ask that happened.

Tiffany's POV
As soon as Billie said those words...my heart stopped...the world felt like it was breaking around me. I felt like the weakest person in the room. I ran out of there as fast as I could, just to hear my brother behind me. I turned around and was greeted with a warm hug as comforting words filled the air. I just cried into his shoulder as I tried to explain what happened through chocked out sobs.

Levi's POV
I ran over to Billie as she looked at the ground, but I could tell, tears were running down her cheeks. I quickly hugged her and tried to comfort her as she started to explain what happened.

After Explaining

I couldn't believe it, no wonder Billie broke up with her. I was about to go confront her about it as Daniel came in. He looked angered and ran up to Billie and hugged her, "I'm sorry about Tiffany. Don't worry I asked her to leave." I was expecting a reaction such as anger from Billie, but was surprised when she just hugged him and kept repeating thank you. Even more tears flooded her eyes as she repeated those two words.

Back to the present

Billie's POV
There is one more week before graduation, and that means I will never have to see Tiffany again. That's good because so far her friends have been vandalizing things like my locker and egging my house. At that time the teacher also walked in and I could see her disbelief in me was over her face. It looked just like Tiffany's disbelief though so. I ran I ran out of the room and ran into the girls bathroom and stayed there until the end of the day.
