The ambulance shook from side to side as I held Levi's soft, warm hand, "L-Levi stay with m-me!" I shouted as the paramedic tried to treat his wounds, "Levi keep your eyes focused on Daniel and squeeze his hand when you feel pain." Levi squeezed my hand tightly as the paramedic tried to clean his wounds. All of a sudden Levi's grip grew limp as something started beeping in the ambulance, "He's crashing!" Shouted one of the paramedic's. He proceeded to push down on Levi's chest all while trying to avoid the gashed in letters. The ambulance rolled to a stop as two doctors pulled Levi out of the car, "What do we have?" Said one of the doctors as they brought Levi inside the hospital. I just stood there for what felt like hours with my legs shaking until one of the doctors brought me inside. I sat in the waiting room as I got a call from an unknown number. I picked up my phone, "H-Hello?" I started with a shake in my voice, "Daniel is that you?" I recognized that deep voice, "Officer Maxwell?" Officer Maxwell was the officer who responded to the call of my brother that night, he was the one who put Zach in jail, "I was calling to say~" "Daniel Loraine?" I looked up and ended the call. There was a doctor standing outside the trauma unit, she was tall, and her curly blonde hair was to her side. I
walked up to her and she lead me to the trauma unit rooms. The strong smell of medicine made me nauseous, but I held my ground. We walked up to a room, she opened the door quietly and Levi was inside. Bags full of a red liquid was hanging off of what seemed to be a coat hanger, a long tube going from inside the bag, into Levi's arm. The doctor said something but I didn't listen, I only heard her soft footsteps as she walked out of the room, her blonde curls bouncing as she left. 'Oh Levi, what happened to you?!' I thought patiently, I moved closer to him, it pained me not to see his seductive smile that makes me feel vulnerable, and his ocean blue eyes that could charm anyone. Once I got to his bed I pulled the light blue covers off his wounded body, I looked at the blood soaked bandages, then I started slowly and carefully unwrapping the bandages, under the bloody wrapping were multiple, long lines of stitches. Hot tears filled my eyes as I rewrapped the bandages. I pulled the covers back up and made my way out of the room. As I headed back to the waiting room the sounds of those...criminals...laughing...echoed in my head, as tears streamed down my face. My phone then started ringing, "H-Hello?" I said quietly with a crack in my voice, "Yes Daniel this is very important so I need you to listen." Just as he spoke an alarm went off in the hospital, the alarm blasted the same words, screeching, "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" I pushed the phone closer to my ear trying to drown out the sound of the alarm, "Daniel I have some bad news..." "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" "It seems your brother..." "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" "Has escaped jail." My body froze, everyone was dashing out of the hospital and I seemed to be frozen, at least, I was, before I heard a small cry for help coming from the trauma unit, it wasn't until three seconds later that I realized that it was Levi's voice. I ran towards the trauma unit and pushed away the doors, I crashed into the wall and hurt my arm but I was still able to make it to Levi's room fully intact. I hit his hospital room door and rushed inside, I saw Levi on his stomach, "H-Help" he whispered with pain in his eyes, "Hey brother." I whirled around, and suddenly I saw Zach there, suddenly something bashed against my head. I heard glass break as the room went dark.
