Chapter 10: I Can't Do This...

Alexis Pov-

I put in my order for some coffee, "Alexis!" I hear a husky voice say from behind me. His arms were held out, he wanted to hug me? "Harry!" I blushed, hugging him. His warm, and surprisingly toned arms wrapped around my little figure. I closed my eyes, and took a deep breath in, he smelled like heaven. "Hey, so I was wondering if you were free later?" He pulled away, and stared locked his eyes with mine, I felt butterflies take over my whole body. "Yes I am!" I said, shooting a perfect flirty smile. The corners of Harry's lips rose to a smile, "I was wondering if you wanted to have dinner, or grab some drinks or something?" he scratched the back of his neck, trying to make it look casual I see? I smiled "I would love to" I said, batting my eyelashes a few times, "I'll text you" I said through my smile, gently swaying my shoulder. "Great, I'll be waiting" Harry cheekily smiled, then winked. Good thing I was standing against a counter, because I felt like I was about to faint.

By the time I got home, it was 6:30, Harry was coming in an hour. I dug through my closet, looking at tons and tons of adorable outfits I had never worn before... until I finally decided on one. A simple pink tank top, but a denim flannel shirt over it (unbuttoned of course!) and a grey floral infinity scarf, some black jeans, and pink flats. I had talked to my neighbor Elise, she said that she would watch Julia until 10. Because I really don't want my brother to tease me about going out with her teacher, my brother to tease me, I sound like a kid...

I showered, slipped my cute outfit on, then scrunched my hair. I don't know what I did, but it always almost looked like little ringlets. I put on my layers of make up, to cover up my uneven skin tone. I dropped Julia off at Elise's, and sat by the door waiting. I sound like a kid again, waiting by the door for my boyfriend's mom to pick me up, and drop us off at the roller rink. I shrugged and smiled a little, until I heard the doorbell ring. I felt myself freeze as I stood up, and took a deep breath as I opened the door. "Hello Love" Harry said, looking at me with his charming eyes, and perfect smile. He linked arms with me and walked me to his car. "I can't do this..." I thought to myself, I glanced at Harry's eyes, glistening in the reflection of the rain on the sidewalk. "I'm going to faint, I'm going to faint, I'M GOING TO FAINT!" I sang to myself in my head a few times, then the butterflies settled down. I felt his hand brush mine, the butterflies are back...
