Lexi's POV-

My mind focused on him, as I wondered where he was. But wait, Peter, we're dealing with Darcy, not Julia. My eyes drifted to Harry as he spoke, "I have type B blood" Harry's eyes darted to the ground, as I grasped his hand. I knew exactly what he was thinking. "Well, I'll leave you two alone." The doctor smirked before stepping out. "Harr-" He cut me off. "I'd do anything for her." His voice was low and raspy. "You don't have to, please, we'll find someone. I don't know what I would do without you" I began to tear up. I felt Harry rest his large hand on my shoulder, "I know. Just. Darcy... she's my daughter" I felt Harry trail off. "I get what your saying, but let's check the wait list to see if there's anything before we resort to these thoughts..." I placed my head on his shoulder, Harry began to stroke my hair. "Okay beautiful"

Harry stood up, taking my hands. I just wanted to collapse onto him, wrap my legs around his waist, and cry into his shoulder, like I did multiple times when I was sad. He would kiss me and tell me everything would be alright, and he would make me laugh. But we had no time for this, this was crunch time.

"Anything yet?" I looked over Harry's shoulder as he was checking another folder of files, of people willing to donate. "No, nothing" Harry's gaze never broke from the files. "Maybe someone will get in a car accident and they'll be a donor, and-" Harry cut me off again, "Alexis don't get your hopes up" Harry stared down at the files, his fingers had stopped searching. "I'm not getting my hopes up, I'm just thinking of possible solutions to keep our daughter alive" I snapped at him. Harry rolled his eyes and sighed. "Don't you get it Alexis?" Harry looked at me, his eyebrows raised high, his lips pursed. "There's no hope" He nearly began to tear up.

"Harry, we can't give up now, we've barely fought" I walked over to him. and wrapped my arms around his waist. Placing my head against his chest I could feel him crying, "We've been through so much, we know we can do this" I gave him one tight squeeze before I whispered, 'We're Styles, we're unstoppable" I smiled, looking up at his tearful eyes. "Lexi, I'm just scared" I held me tighter, I could feel a gentle trickle of tears falling down his face. "We just have to be strong, do you think Darcy would like to see us like this?" Harry sniffled, "No" He brushed off his shoulders and pulled away from me. "Strong" he smiled. "That shouldn't be a problem for you" I giggled, squeezing his bicep.

.

We strolled back into Darcy's room, hand in hand, trying to keep our "strong" physique high. My eyes rested on Darcy, she was sleeping peacefully. Her little stomach rising and falling in perfect motion, I just wish she could be this comfortable forever. "Did you have any of these problems with Julia?" Harry asked, his thumb gently tracing the veins on the back of my hand. "No, she was just a tad underweight, but nothing too serious. I'm just scared it was because I was under all this stress with Peter, and moving, and just my family" I wrapped an arm of mine snug around the lower half of his waist. "That might be it..." Harry watched Darcy too, "but hey, she'll be fine" Harry smiled while saying that.

I laid the side of my head on his chest as he squeezed me in closer to him, we were just staring at Darcy. Looks of compassion and looks of horror, when we heard someone walk up behind us.

"She's beautiful, isn't she?" I heard the voice say, thinking it was a doctor, I smiled. "Thank you" I didn't turn around. "She definitely got her looks from you Alexis, not this scumbag" I felt Harry jolt forward, as if he got pushed. I turned around to see who it was...

"PETER" I screamed, frantically looking around for Julia, only to realize she was at home with Mason. "There's no need to shout?" Peter stood in the corner, a smirk playing across his lips. "There's no need for you to be here!" Harry intervened from the other side of the room, I nodded. "Why are you here?" I rolled my eyes. "Well nice to see you too" Peter smiled. "Stop" I frowned, "What are you doing here?" I jeered through my teeth. "Can't I just come to see my amazing new god daughter, niece, child..., over there" Peter pointed at Darcy. "Your not related to her in any way" I looked at him in disgust.

"Oops" Peter shrugged his shoulders, "Then I guess this would be weird to ask... but Alexis, would you go to lunch with me, just as old friends?" Peter batted his eyelashes a few times. "I'll get back to you on it, but right now, I would really like to be with my daughter whose dying." I said a little too cold for my liking before turning my shoulder and walking over toward Darcy, hand and hand with Harry.

After Peter had left the room, Harry turned to face me. "I'll get back to you on it? Why didn't you flatly tell him no! Lex, remember the last time you "had lunch" with him? You ended up like kidnapped!" Harry threw his arms in the air. I silenced him with a quick kiss, "Peter knows people, a lot of people, and maybe he could find us a donor" I shrugged my shoulders before taking Harry's hand tightly one more time. I felt my head rest on his shoulder as we stared at Darcy all bundled up in her little cube. As she began to cry I muttered these simple words, "We're not giving up on you baby, we're unstoppable" and her sobs slowly stopped.
