Hi sorry it has been so long. I am going to make it up to you with this whole chapter at once.

Chapter 2: The Rogue Agent

Josh P.O.V

After reading up on my field report of my first assassination, I thought I should put my plans into action.

I went to my quarters and took off my vest. I rummaged through my closet and found a dark grey long-sleeved, V-neck shirt and placed it on. I pulled out my back leather, full body coat and placed it over my shirt. I left immediately for Selene’s office. I pushed the door open and forced the three men that sat at her desk to leave.

“Josh, what the hell are you doi…” I cut her off. I pushed my lips to her and placed my face next to her ear.

“I love you, and I am so sorry,” I whispered to her.

She gasped and her face held an expression of shock.

I pulled the machine pistol from her right gun holster, placed my arm around her neck and placed the gun to her temple. She laughed. “You won’t make it out of here alive,” she chuckled.

“Neither will anyone else,” I whispered, “move,” I shoved her out the door. Everyone immediately pulled their guns from their holsters and aimed them at us. “Shoot, and so do I,” Selene nodded towards them. We walked through numerous doors and waypoints before we reached the engine room. I whistled and used the gun to wave the two men out. They held their hands up and left willingly. I let her go and pushed her into a chair. She attempted to apprehend me. She grabbed my gun and placed it at my head. Two men pushed the door open.

I spun and grabbed Selene’s arm and pushed it to one side. I moved to her back and twisted her other arm. The men fired at us. I used her hand to squeeze the trigger at them. One bullet managed to find its way through the man’s head, which caused blood to spray all over the door behind them. I snatched the machine pistol from Selene’s hand and smashed her head onto the metal pole nearby. I sprayed bullets all over the second man. As he fell, blood poured from his mouth leaving a pool under his body.

I walked over to the door and, with one button, sealed it. I walked over to the engine control panel. I typed in the password to relinquish control to a wireless service. I transferred control to my iPhone.

“Sorry Selene,” I whispered to her as I left the control room. Sirens could be heard, and nothing else.

I wandered to the ammunition hold. I pulled a duffle bag from the cupboards, as well as another one of my small packs. I pulled numerous items from the many shelves, mainly machine pistol magazines that held at least 100 small bullets. Numerous amounts of shotgun ammo, grenades, sais, throwing knives, arrows and a shotgun. More ammo and grenades fit into my pack. I also pulled out my foldable bow from my locker on the way out and stiffed it into the bag.

I walked through the corridors to the bay. Suddenly. I was surrounded. I could feel the Daedalus falling on one side. “Freeze,” one of the men shouted.

I reached into my coat and pulled both machine pistols from their holsters and span while firing. I hit them all, wasting no bullets. They all fell leaving no evidence of their stance originally other than blood spatters on the walls and blood pools under them. I sheathed the guns again. “Freeze yourself, but you’re more likely to get burned,” I said to the dead man as I left the room. I made it to the aircraft hangar and saw all the aircrafts destroyed and lit fire on the left side of the hanger which at this point was probably floor. “Well that’s inconvenient,” I said.

“Freeze Josh, I don’t want to kill you,” Talisha spoke to me behind me.

“Well this just is so inconvenient. It just isn’t my day,” I said to her.

“Well your day won’t last long at the moment,” she said, “say your last words”.

“Nice last words,” I said. She looked at me with confusion. I pulled the gun out from my coat and shot her in her chest. She fell to the floor, unconscious. She was my friend so I didn’t want to see if she was alive or not, because I didn’t need that on my conscience at the moment.

I left to the bridge. When I arrived Imogen whipped around and loaded her sniper rifle and aimed it directly in the centre of my head. I placed my hands in the air.

“I surrender,” I smirked.

“Place your hands on your head,” Jordan said with a submachine gun aimed at my head.

I laughed. An assassin walked towards me. “Woops,” I said as I brought my hands around the front and everyone saw the grenade and pin in my hands, I through it towards Imogen.

“GRENADE!” Imogen yelled as she dove out of the way of the grenade.

It blew up, as we hit the ocean. The glass of the windows from the bridge shattered and everyone swam out before we were all dragged out. I saw Jordan floating on the water.

“Shit,” I said as I swam to grab him. I pulled him along as I swam out of the window. He awoke on my back.

“Shit,” he said, “Why do I have this weird sinking feeling?” he asked.

“Because I just crashed the Daedalus,” I said plainly. He rolled off of my back and he swam after me. We swam to shore.

After an hour of non-stop swimming we reached the Russian shores. My hair and coat were soaked. But this was not the time to stop because Jordan was right behind me. I ran to a construction site. I climbed the girders to the top and ran across some more till I reached a platform. Jordan hot on my tail and I smirked.

Imogen P.O.V

“We are too late,” I said to a drenched Talisha.

“Shit,” Talisha said as she pulled the crumpled bullet from her bullet proff vest, hidden under her jacket.

“Holy shit, he is so strong,” I said as I noticed the trachea on the floor surrounded by a clump of flesh and blood sprawled along the floor.

“What the hell did he do with the body,” the other assassin said while he looked over the edge for the missing body.

“I have no, fucking idea,” Imogen said.
