Chapter 16: Let's go to war...

"Oof!" I exhaled in exasperation. After teleporting we landed 10 metres in the air before falling the rest of the way, one breath out of line when teleporting and it could be game over.

"Is everyone alright?" I asked with my normal, thick English accent.

"Yeah," Selene said

The others just huffed at their back pains from falling on their weapons that were holstered on their backs.

"I swear to Zeus, if we make it out of this mess alive...I am going to personally kick you in the balls so hard, they are going to come out of your mouth," Talisha exclaimed.

"No you won't," Selene said as she pulled a knife from her boot. "And if you even try to, I will personally pull them back through, carefully and sensually," she whispered in my ear.

"AAHHHH, Oof!" we all heard.

The four of us spun around at the same time with guns drawn and all pointed at the same target, Imogen's head.

Imogen rolled over and jumped into a backward cartwheel. She took her balance, and then she pushed her hands out to calm us down.

"Sorry about that," Jordan finally spoke up.

"What the fuck was that?" Talisha asked Imogen.

"Well, I had an assassination, and when I had finished, I jumped off of the balcony, and when I walked up to the nearest building for cover, I was sucked into a blue and white portal. A few seconds later, I was here. Where is here anyway?" Imogen finally took a breath.

We all looked at our surroundings. We looked at our feet to see the brightest sand.

I noticed a large sand dune. I ran up to it and started to climb it. I stopped half way and pulled down my hood. I continued up the rest of the sand dune and stopped at the top to an amazing sight. 3 large pyramid structures.

"We are in Giza," I yelled down to the others.

"How do you know?" Selene screamed back up.

"No reason, just the three large pyramids of Giza standing in that general direction," I said sarcastically as I pointed in the direction of the structures. Selene placed her hands on her hips and kinked her hips to the right. In simple terms, she was not impressed. The four of them climbed up to me. We walked aimlessly t the pyramids.

When we eventually reached the towering structures above us, we heard large booming sounds. We had no idea where they were coming from, so I turned to the group.

"We should climb to the top to see the extent of whatever the hell is going on," I explained to the group. They all nodded in agreement.

We had been climbing for ten minutes. We eventually reached the summit. We looked over across the land. We saw a horrific sight. To what extent, I couldn't imagine what kind of destructive force could have done such a thing. I saw black clouds of smoke coming from the nearby city. Every large clashing sound we heard, we saw another mushroom cloud erupt from the city.

"What the fuck is going on down there?" Jordan wondered.

"We're about to find out," Selene said as she nudged me with her elbow.

"Right, let's go to war," I exclaimed.

We climbed back down the large bricks and made our way to the city.

After an hour of treacherous walking, we arrived at the city and saw none other than Zeus and Hades flying in the sky.
