You were watching some movies on your phone when you got a text somebody.

Gio🤦‍♀️: hey party at my place at 11?
Y/n: sure I guess.

You didn't want to go because you knew parties were chases scene but you wanted to try and forget about him. You look over at the window to his room and see him shoving his tounge down about her girls throat. Even though you guys haven't talked for almost a year it you still hate the fact that he brings home a different girl every night. You look away and begin to get ready. You decide you don't wanna waste your time so you wear one of these:

You walk out to your car and get to gios at about 11:40. You walk over to the beer pong and see one of your friends playing.
Y/n: yo Cody!
You walk up to him and slap his neck.
Cody: yo chill dude
You both laugh and then you see chase walk in.
Y/n: hey Cody let's play a few rounds of it.
Cody: I'm down dude.
You guys play 2 rounds and Cody left without you realizing. After the third round you go and look for him. You find him out back making out with Zoe.
Y/n: Cody can I talk to you about something.
As soon as he began to speak you could smell the alcohol in his breath.
Cody: nah bitch i don't play with fake people.
Y/n: I'm leaving Cody.
You began to cry because it brought back memories of what happened with chase.

Flashback:
Chase: y/n I don't think we should be friends anymore.
Y/n: what do you mean chase?!
Chase: I just can't be friends with you.
Y/n: why?!
You began to cry and he looked away.
Chase: I've heard people say so many things about us. Things get around-
Y/n: you said I was your everything bro! You said you loved me. All the way till the day we die we would be best friends!
Chase: y/n I can't do this anymore things changed.
Y/n: chase just tell me-
Chase: I have to go.
Flashback over:

Chases pov:
I hear yelling and stuff going on out back so I go look. I see Cody yelling at y/n. I hate when she's upset. I began to ball my fists but Diego pulled me back.
Diego: chase you know you would get in fights for her just talk to her already.
Chase: I can't.
I looked at the floor when she walked in front of me and out the house.
Diego: go give her a ride it's cold and dark.
Chase: just leave me alone.
I walked away and over to the window. I thought about giving her a ride and I didn't like the idea of it being dark so I caved.
End of pov

I was walking when I saw lights flash behind me. I was mad that I drunk so I couldn't drive my car. When the person rolled down the window I saw somebody who I thought would never talk to me again.
Chase: get in I don't want you in the dark while it's cold.
Y/n: I'm good.
Chase: come on y/n.
I could tell he was just as confused as me.
Y/n: no thanks chase.
Chase: please?
Y/n: no.
Chase: either you get in or I'm following you home.
Y/n: you are a certified bitch.
You got in the car and looked out the window.
Chase: if you want to play some music or something the chord is in the glove box.
Y/n: thanks.
You grabbed the chord and played a random song on your playlist. You began to quietly sing it. You think chase heard you because he looked at you then back at the road smiling.
Chases POV:
When I heard her singing I couldn't help but smile. I missed the things we used to do together. I really want to try and fix it but I just can't.
Y/n: why did you want to take me home?
Chase: y/n I don't want to do this right now.
Y/n: then we will do it when we are home.
She skipped the song and our favorite song as kids came on.
Chase: I remember when we used to sing this together.
Y/n: key term used to.
I began to sing a little under my breath and I think she heard me.
Y/n: the fact you still remember the lyrics is rediculous dude.
We both laugh.
Chase: and you don't?
Y/n: shut up.
I laughed and we both began to sing.
End of POV

Me and chase were singing the whole ride back. When we're pulling up to the drive way a tear slid down my face. When u got out of the car chase walked over to me.
Chase: why are you crying tree?
He hasn't called me that since we stopped talking. I even remember the first time he called me that.

Flashback:
Chase: I remember when I met you a few weeks ago we were climbing the same tree.
Y/n: yeah and you fell.
You both laugh.
Chase: I'm gonna call you tree now.
Y/n: then you're clumsy.
You both laughed and you layed your head on his shoulder
End of flashback

Hearing him say that made me cry even more. He took a step towards me but hesitated to hug me.
Chase: what's wrong?
He finally hugged me and I hugged back. I missed this. I missed him.
Y/n: I can't do this chase.
I pushed him off.
Chase: y/n I'm sorry for it.
Y/n: you left me and you moved on
Chase: you don't know that.
Y/n: yeah I do every morning you used to smile at me and say hi but now you don't even talk to me!
Your voice cracked on the last word. You sat on the ground and put your head in your knees.
Chase: I'm sorry
He sat down with you and hugged you.
