When you guys sat down you layed your head back on Payton's lap.
Zoe: ok I'm just going to say it I was fan girling over you two all yesterday.
You guys all laughed and then Cody killed the vibe.
Cody: what happened between you and chase anyway?
You looked right at Cody and he knew he fucked up.
Y/n: none of your business. I have to use the bathroom.
You got up and you saw Cody try to go after you.
Cody: y/n-
Zoe: I got it.
Zoe got up and followed you up to the bathroom. She knocked on the door quietly.
Zoe: y/n can you let me in
Y/n: come on...
She walked in and sat down next to you.
Zoe: so what was that about?
Y/n: I don't want to tell him because I know he will get really mad about why we broke up.
Zoe: well tell him a lie.
Y/n: I can't do that. Saying anything would make Cody mad about it. Me and chase are on good terms for now and I just...
Zoe: well why did you two break up?
Y/: he cheated...
Zoe: if you don't tell him he will find out another way.
Y/n: I know.
Cody: WHAT THE FUCK!!
You and Zoe ran into the living room and Cody walked up to you.
Cody: why didn't you tell me?!?
Y/n: Cody calm down...
Cody: NO HE ISNT GOING TO TREAT YOU LIKE THAT!
Zoe: Cody chill out!
Y/n: I don't have time for this right now you want to find out so bad here.
You unlocked your phone and called chase. You handed Cody the phone and grabbed a jacket.
Payton: where are you going?
Y/n: ok a walk bye.
You walked out the door and you saw Payton's parents look out the window. Payton's mom opened the window.
P/m: where are you going?
Y/n: just in a quick walk...
P/d: just be careful.
Y/n: I will.
You walked around for about 10 minutes when you started to head back. You started to hear footsteps behind you. When you turned around somebody was following you. You began to run back as fast as you could. The Pierson was still behind you but about 10 feet away when you got back to Payton's. You opened the door And locked it.
Payton: are you ok?!
He got up and walked over to you.
Y/n: turn the lights out and lock any other doors.
Zoe: what happened?!
Y/n: somebody was following me hurry!
Zoe turned out the lights and Payton locked the back door.
Cody: get down.
You guys saw a shadow pass the window and you guys sat down.
The doorknob began to jiggle and you got scared. Your breathing got a little heavy and Payton covered your mouth.
Cody: we have to get your parent Payton.
Payton: ok everybody stay down until we get to the stairs.
You guys crawled over to the stairs and quickly went up them. You guys opened the door to his parents room and locked it. You woke him parents up and they almost turned the light on.
Payton: keep it off.
P/d: what's going on?
Y/n: somebody followed me back here and they are trying to get in.
P/m: did you lock the doors?
You guys heard the door open and you jumped.
Zoe: they were locked.
P/d: ok everybody stay quiet I'm going to call the cops. Payton grab the gun from the drawer.
Payton opened the drawer and you grabbed the gun. You turned the safety off and loaded it. You kept your finger on the trigger as you heard the pardon walk up the stairs. You saw their feet by the door and you crawled up to up.
Payton: y/n stop.
You put the gun under the door and shot the persons foot. You guys figured out it was a guy. He fell to the ground and you opened the door. You pointed the gun at him and he put his hands up. You saw something flash in his sleeve.
Y/n: what's in your sleeve.
Person: thought you'd never ask.
He pulled out a knife and cut your stomach. You stumbled back a little and Payton's dad got up. He took the gun and shot the persons shoulder. You sat down and Payton and his mom ran over to you. You guys saw the lights and heard the sirens of the cops when they pulled up.
Cop1: POLICE DEPARTMENT CALL OUT IF YOU HEAR ME.
Zoe: UP HERE!!!
Cody turned the light on as the cops ran upstairs. They took the gun from Payton's dad and they cuffed the burglar. A paramedic ran over to you.
Paramedic: ok miss can you tell me how many fingers I'm holding up.
She help up some fingers but you couldn't make them up.
Y/n: I c-can't see to well
You started to feel dizzy and the lady put you on one of the boards and that was the last thing you remember.

Payton's pov
Y/n had blacked out.
Paramedic2: shes going to need emergency surgery I think one of her intestines were hit.
They took her into the ambulance and my mom let me go with. I was silent almost the whole ride watch them as they put different things on her and stuff. When we got to the hospital my parents were there and we ran inside. Cody tried to follow but they told him to stay back.
Zoe: I'm going to call chase.
Cody: I'm going to call her mom.
I sat down and just stared off into the waiting room. My dad come over and sat down next to me.
P/d: hey champ.
Payton: hey.
P/d: it's going to be ok Payton she will be fine.
Payton: But what if she isn't?
P/d: just don't think about that.
Cody: her mom is in Nevada but she will try and come as soon as possible.
Zoe: chase said he's on his way.
P/m: ok everybody just sit down and wait we can't panic.
