Chapter 7                    A fun day out
November 17 1979
Lucius POV
My mother and father thought it was a good idea to take (Y/N) and I out for the day. My father decided to take me to the zoo. I had not been to the zoo in a long time. "Lucius what would you want to see first?" I looked at the zoo schedule and wrote down on my notepad "lion feeding 12:00". I wrote a few more things down then. "Tiger, giraffe, polar bear, gorilla, monkey, elephant, hippopotamus, reptile house" We headed for the giraffes first. When we got there I walked up to them and just watched them. They were spooked and ran off. "I'm sorry son I didn't mean to scare them away" my dad said placing a hand on my shoulder. They always did that. I love the zoo but the animals did not like me. From the day I was born the animals have been able to sense that I am evil. It used to get to me when I was a little kid but now not so much. This was one of the small prices of being the son of the devil. One day I might be able to rule Hell. That'll be the day. I can rule Hell and Earth all by myself. "So what would you like to see next?" Father asked snapping me out of my thoughts. I pulled my notepad out of my pocket and pointed to where I wanted to go next. "Ok off to the polar bears we go"      

Y/N POV
Nancy and I were out looking through the shops of the town. She said after this we could go see a movie. Nancy was looking at some of the clothes in the shop so I decided to do the same. After about 5 minutes she came and asked me if I was ready to go. I didn't find anything good so I was ready. We started towards the theatre when a dress in the window of one of the shops caught my eye. It was red with a black strip on the waist. It had black straps that you tied and it was beautiful. "Nancy, do you see that dress?" I stared at it. I had never seen a dress that pretty before. Melissa would be so jealous. "That dress is very pretty indeed". Eventually Nancy pulled me away from the dress and into the theatre. I wanted to see The Amityville Horror but with everything happening at the manor I didn't want to upset Nancy so we decided on The Black Stallion.

Lucius POV
We had finished up at the zoo and were at Dyers with mother, father, and (Y/L). I sat next to mother and across from (Y/L). Our drinks arrived. I got an orange soda, (Y/L) got (Your favorite drink), father got water and mother had a sweet tea. I was staring intently at her. Her necklace was giving me a headache. I would have to take care of that necklace if I ever wanted to get closer to her.

TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE CROW THAT FOLLOWS LUCIUS AROUND AND MY LAZINESS

November 18 1979
Lucius POV
3am

I woke up to fire surrounding the house. Father was here "Ah, my boy. Such prodigious results. I am thoroughly impressed with you." Maybe I would get to kill someone today. "Listen, I have something to teach you." I turned my attention towards father excited to find out what I would learn tonight. "You have the ability, deep inside you, to look into people's minds and tell them what to do. Let's unlock this ability together." I was so ready for this. "Now, follow my  instructions." He told me to walk over to the person he spawned in my room. "That's my boy." Next I raised my arm to gain control over him. I made him pick up the toy car on my bedroom floor. "Oh, very good." I heard father say. "I have a little gift for you." I walked over to see what it was. It was a small box wrapped in black wrapping paper. What would I need with a box and why was it so tiny? "This is a Christmas present for (Y/N). You will give it to her on Christmas eve or Christmas day. Until then don't open the box and put it in a safe place. Am I understood?" I nodded my head once. "Good boy Lucius. Now, to continue your journey Lucius. With your new skills you should avoid detection and reap more souls for me!" With that fathers voice began to fade out and the darkness began to surround me.

Ay and that was chapter 7. Thought we'd take a break from the killing and have a nice day out even though nothing happened. I changed the name of the title. It's no longer Fate or Destiny (I don't know what I was thinking with that title or the new one but I don't know maybe it'll be a really good title that people like). The book is now Promise me the Prophecy. Don't ask me how I came up with that cuz I have no clue. It was also a smaller chapter with 1004 words.
