I woke up at ten the next morning. I got up and brushed my hair and threw it in a bun. I threw on my light blue wool long sleeved sweater with black leggings. I was here alone, because soda and pony were with the boys at a party, and i didn't want to go. My mom won't be home until next-BANG! I jumped at the noise. It sounded like a gunshot! BANG! I jumped up. BANG! I jumped again. It came from downstairs. I ran to my closet and hid in there, hiding myself under boxes and clothes, so I wasn't visible. I pulled my knees to my chest and wrapped my arms around my knees as I cried silently. BANG! I shrieked quietly. I sobbed into my arms as quietly as possible. The bangs stopped. I stayed in the same position. I heard footsteps pounding up the stairs. I covered my mouth as I kept sobbing. The footsteps came closer to me and I held my breath. I couldn't see anything other than the pile of clothes. I shut my eyes tight, not daring to move. SLAM! The front door slammed open. I heard footsteps, then voices. BANG! I heard yelling. BANG! I curled myself up in a ball, as tears fell from my eyes. Silence. I heard faint sirens. They came closer and I heard tires screeching.
"Put your hands up! You're under arrest!" Someone yelled. BANG! BANG!
"Hey!" BANG! I heard a thump. Another. BANG! The tenth gunshot echoed. More sirens. More silence.
"Hello? Is there anyone here? I'm officer Miles from the TPD. It's safe to come out now." Someone called out. I stood up and stepped out of the closet slowly. I cautiously headed downstairs. I gasped at the sight I saw. There were four dead bodies sprawled across my living room floor. Blood everywhere. One of the dead people was wearing a black ski mask with black clothes. Blood gushed out from his chest, forming a puddle on the carpet. Two were in police uniforms, one was shot in the head, the other in the chest also. When I got to the fourth, my jaw dropped and my eyes widened.
"D-Dallas?!" I choked out.
