"Preg.. pregnant?" I mutter. I was always that guy that never wanted kids of my own, or a serious girlfriend. But for some reason, all of those thoughts are gone right now. I'm excited. "That's great news, Lor, I--" I begin before Lori cuts in. "Great news? No it isn't. Haven't you been listening to me? I don't want to bring a child into this world. This is no way to live for a new born baby." She says. "How could you say that? Are we supposed to just wait until we're all dead? Let the human race go extinct? I know it won't be easy, but we have to try Lor, we HAVE to. We can make it work, Fort Benning is safe enough to raise a baby." I implore. "I don't want to have this baby. I'm scared Shane. What if it's still born, and turns, inside of me? There's so much that can go wrong." She insists. "Anything can go wrong at any given time. Doesn't mean we don't try. Does anyone else know you're pregnant?" I ask. She shakes her head. "I'll tell everyone when I'm ready." She explains as she heads back to the main post. I follow behind her.

We return to the main post, where everyone is gathered. "Anyone wanna come with me? I'm going on a run in the city." I announce to the group. Glenn and Belle volunteer to come along. I nod to them in approval and the three of us make our ways to the door. As we exit the main post, I hear Lori urging us to be careful. "So what's goin' on? We're not low on any supplies. What's this run all about?" Belle asks. "Lori's pregnant. I don't know if she's ready to let everyone know just yet, so lets keep that between us three. I wanted to get her some prenatal vitamins." I explain. "So we're going out to get vitamins?" Glenn asks unenthused. "Yeah. I'd understand if you didn't wanna come. No need to risk your life for my personal needs." I look at Glenn and Belle. They both look game, for the journey. "Thanks." I say before leading my troop on foot down the highway.

After walking, while Belle skateboards, through what's left to be cleared of the mess of cars on the highway, we come up to my Jeep. I drive, while Belle sits passenger, and Glenn sits in the back, as we head towards Atlanta. "So what do you two think about Daryl and Beth?" I ask out of curiosity. "I don't trust them. We know what Daryl's done, and the girl is kinda creepy." Glenn says. "Yeah, she's a little weird, but that girl's been through a lot in a short amount of time, it'll pass. About Daryl, I'm glad that you don't trust him, I don't trust him completely either. But that distrust is gonna help us stay alert around him." I explain. Belle nods her head  "I STILL don't trust you guys." She says jokingly with a smile.

"There it is." Glenn says, as we near Atlanta. I look out the window where he is peering to see our old hillside camp. "There's what?" Belle inquires. I point her in the right direction. "That's where our group started. It was just Me, Lori, Carl, and Morales' family for the first few nights. Then more started coming and what was just a temporary stay on that hill, became home real quick." I tell her. "It became a graveyard too." Glenn adds. He was right. We lost some good people at that camp. I wish I could've gotten eveyone to Fort Benning sooner. "When we get a little closer I'm gonna park the Jeep and we'll go in on foot. Glenn I'm counting on you to guide use safely in and out of the city, so stay sharp. We need to stay together and follow Glenn's lead, and this should be quick and easy." I explain.

I park the Jeep just outside of Atlanta and the three of us prepare to enter the city. Glenn takes the front and leads me and Belle through a succession of alleyways en route to a nearby shopping center with a pharmacy. While moving through the alleyways I can hear the constant moans and groans of the geeks that fill the main streets of Atlanta. Within a few minutes we're behind the building we want to get into. Glenn thinks we should take the ladder to the roof, to avoid having to go around front and risk being exposed to the geeks. Belle and I agree, and we follow Glenn up to the roof.

On the roof we locate the door leading to the staricase down to the pharmacy. The pharmacy is quiet and seemingly vacant. Surprisingly it's still pretty stocked up. The metal shutters are pulled down on the front of the building imparing our view of the streets. "Take anything you have room for." I order the group. After a few seconds I find a shelf holding the prenatal vitamins that i need for Lori. As I throw several bottles into my bag I hear Belle. "Ahh! Help!" Me and Glenn immediately drop what we're doing and rush over to the sound of Belle's screams. We arrive to see a geek who has a grip on her arm from the opposite side of a shelf that Belle was looting. I run at the geek and kick him to the floor, and Glenn finishes him with a knife to the head.

"Are you okay? Are you scratched?" I urgently ask Belle. "No. I'm fine." She says before kicking the downed geek a few times. "Son of a bitch!" She bellows. I let her blow off some more steam before we continue to take what we can. Once we gather enough supplies we head back to the roof, but what we find is disturbing. The alley that we came from is now filled with geeks. There's no clear escape path now. "Shit. What do we do now, Glenn?" I ask. "Ugh. I don't know. Wait them out?" He says. "Wait them out? We can't wait out a whole city of geeks. Shit!" I crouch down with my hands on my head, trying to think of a way to get us out of this. "You know that class I assist Carol in teaching back at the fort? We've gone over using the geek guts as a camouflage. We have a geek downstairs we can use." She offers. "We don't even know if it works." I say. Belle looks at me, then down to the pack of geeks in the alley. "Looks like it's time to find out."
