Outside POV

Thanksgiving break came and went very quickly, only being two days off from school. Christmas break was a different story though.

Two long and joyous weeks away from hell couldn't make a student happier. Even though Mj and Daniel couldn't spend their Christmas together like that had planned, they still got together with their friends three days after.

Daniels family had gone to down to Florida for a short vacation in Disney, which was a surprise, thus stopping him and mj from being together.

When they did get together it was at Jack's house, which quickly became the main meeting spot for the group.

The girls were in matching onesies with cute little Christmas cactuses all over them. The boys had on basic black tees with plaid pajama pants.

They all exchanged gifts, most being weird joke gifts. Like the flat soccer ball Zach got Jack because of the one time he kicked the ball into the parking lot and a car ran it over, popping it.

Towards the end of the exchange, everyone had given and received all of their presents, besides Daniel and Mj.

While she watched Daniel give his last present to Corbyn, her leg bounced up and down in anticipation. Her present to him was a new ring with the engraving "hope" in Japanese. She knew how often his mom preached optimism in their family and always seeing the good in every situation.

Finally he turned to Mj, giving her a shy smile.

"Um so my last gift is for Mj."

He got up from his seat came over to the opposite couch and crouched in front of her. He pulled out a small black velvet box. Mj's breath hitched for a second as she took in this picture.

Daniel was kneeling in front of her with an expensive looking black box in his hands. But obviously he couldn't be proposing. We are only in high school, she thought.

He pulled the top up revealing a golden chain with a letter "S" charm on it.

"This is a beautiful necklace, for a beautiful girl, that will remind you that I am yours. And I had them put an "S" on it so that you will always remember that one day I will make you Mrs. Seavey, I don't want you worrying about losing me ever again, mj." He leaned forward connecting their lips in a soft yet passionate kiss. He could feeling her smiling on his lips, making him smile as well.

They pulled apart, mjs hand resting on the side of Daniels face, the look of love running through her eyes.

"I- I don't even know what to say Daniel. I love you, so so much. Thank you baby." This time she pulled him into a kiss. All of their friends let out small groans of annoyance at the young couple.

"That's it I need more hot chocolate I can't take this much love" Kat practically jumped from her seat to sprint into the kitchen, leaving their friends to giggle at her reaction.

Mjs thoughts on the future had obviously been changed over the last month. She wasn't scared anymore, only excited to take on whatever was to come her way

Just some fluff for ya.

Ok so two things, one I am just realizing I forgot to put a Halloween chapter?? Literally what?? So just like pretend that didn't happen

And two, sometimes I find myself getting so overwhelmed from the feedback on this book. I love writing it and meeting people from writing it makes it 100 times better. I had at one point wanted to discontinue this book but I'm so glad I didn't. You all seriously have such an impact on my life. Even if you're just a ghost reader you reading means a lot to me. It's hard to be vulnerable when put your work out for people to read or judge. Even if it was only one person reading, voting or commenting i would still be baffled that people want to read my (very amateur) work so thank you guys for everything you've done for me. I love y'all also this is the fastest I've updated like ever?? Lmao maybe these will be more often also k changed the POV a little. Do you guys like it?? Let me know!

That's for the comments and votes!

Shout out to @liliking2004 thank you for all the votes. Love you! :)
