Amanda's POV

"OK you ask me first." I said to Akko. A bit afraid of what she would ask. "OK truth or dare?" Akko said with a evil grin. "... Truth..." I replied. "What do you fear most?" Akko said, I already had my answer, "Losing you... or any friend for that matter. That's why I always act tough, to protect you and the others.", Akko just stared at me in a glad smile on her face. "Wow, I never knew... It's ok you will never lose us we are all strong we all protect each other" Akko said lunging int Amanda's arms giving her a warming brace. I just sat there with a slight blush on my face. I hugged her back, she was so warm and comfortable, it was ... calming.

We sat there for a while until we both pulled back, I quickly changed the subject to distract her from noticing my blush, "So, truth or dare?" I asked. " Dare..." Akko replied. 'HMMM what should I dare her to do...... OH I know.', "Hey Akko I dare you to slap me as hard as you can." I said, "What no!!!" Akko shouted in protest, "What... are you to chicken? Or are you too weak to slap me?" I said with a slight snicker in my voice. "Fine..!" Akko said with a pout. I braced my face for the slap, but I wasn't ready enough. Akko then slapped me with the force of a thousand suns, "AAAHHHHHH!!!!" I screamed in pain and fell back.

Akko quickly jumped by my side to help me. "OH MY GOD! I am so sorry, please forgive me, please. Are you ok?" Akko yelped ... A couple seconds passed when I came back to my senses, "Uhhhh... Wow. You have quite a hit, ouch that hurt.." I said rubbing my face, "You're ok.. Thank god..." Akko said hugging me in happiness... then she kissed my cheek. "THANK GOD... THANK GOD... THANK GOD..." Akko said, I felt my cheeks burn and brighten up as I notice what she just did. Then she froze also realizing what she did subconsciously.

After a few minutes of awkward silence I broke the silence and said "So, my turn, I choose truth.", "Do you like anyone in this school? " I had kept this in for too long I must tell the truth. "Yes... you." I replied, "No I mean, like like someone in this school... love them." Akko said in response, "I... I-I know... y-you." I looked down blushing like mad, afraid of how she would respond. "I l-like y-you too... I always have." Akko responded pulling me into her embrace. I looked at her, she was staring at me, happier than I have ever seen her... and that,s saying something.

"I love you Akko" I said pulling her into a light kiss, it was better then I could have ever imagined, her soft lips against mine, we sat like that for a while, forgetting every worry we had ever had. We soon broke the kiss staring into each others eyes. We sat there for a while staring at each other, I broke the silence "I best go... sooo... do you want to 'talk' more tomorrow?", "Yeah... that would be great... see you tomorrow..."

I left the room heading back to my dorm, once I got back I sat down remembering her soothing hugs and her luscious lips against mine. Her crimson eyes staring into my soul, watching me as if I was hers and hers only, but to me that's a good feeling. A feeling of someone loving you, and the feeling of loving them.

The next day 1st lesson

I headed down to Akkos room to talk about what happened the other day. I arrived to her dorm and entered, Lotte and Sucy were still in the room preparing to leave for class. "Oh hey Amanda what are you doing here." Lotte asked, "Just came to check how you all were doing." I replied. Lotte and Sucy stared at me confused, "Amanda being nice, did I eat a bad mushroom or something" Sucy said, still in a confused state. "Ha Ha so funny Sucy, I can be nice whenever I want!" I replied to Sucy. "Oh no we're gonna be late, we should hurry" Lotte said. "You 2 go I have to talk to Akko for a while. bye." I said, "Ok byeee" Lotte said. After Lotte and Sucy had left the room I turned to Akko to see her sitting down relaxed.

"So, about yesterday... did you really mean it?" Akko asked, "Of course I meant it, I love you, I always have." I replied. "Thank God... so do you want to talk more after lessons, today is my first day back." Akko said in relief, "Sure, maybe we could go to the cafe in town and talk over food?" I replied. "Sure, but we better hurry to class before we miss it entirely." Akko chuckled out.

So me and Akko headed down to class, each lost in their own thoughts. Once we arrived we were told off for being so late, but, we didn't care one bit. The day went on as normal, Akko sleeping, Sucy doing potions and Diana writing down every word the teacher said. After class we headed out to town to a new cafe that had opened in town, it looked pretty cool, it was called 'The witches wand', of course they named it that after the incident. Anyway we headed towards the counter to get our food Akko got a apple pie and a hot chocolate, I just got a coffee.
