Chapter 8

Akko POV

I began to blush as I was hugged by Am, I could feel her face shift as her grin became wider, a smile grew on my face as I could tell she was happy. I let go and stared into her eyes, "Now time for us to get to work, how can I help?" I say, wanting to help and do something, within my abilities of course. "How about you gather some sticks and make some crutches, considering DT is the only subject you excel at." Am replied (In this universe they still have some base school classes).

"Sure, but I might struggle to walk and get the sticks in the first place though" I say chuckling, "Oh, right... I will go get you some sticks and any vines if I can find the so it can be used as ropes, you wait here I shall be back." Am says as she gets up and runs off into the trees. After about 15 minutes she returned with about 10 medium sized sticks and 4 vines all about 60 centimeters long. "Hey Akko I'm back I have got enough sticks and vines for some crutches as you might need some back ups. Here ya go.?" Am said laying the supplies in front of me.

After an hour of working I was able to make 4 stable crutches, 2 of which are back ups. I began to get up with the help of Am, once I was on my one unharmed foot Am gave me my crutches making sure I was able to stand, I was able to stand with ease and slowly began to walk, 'God I missed this.' I thought to myself. "Thanks Amanda, now what do we need to do. Explore, get food or supplies? It's your call." I say hopping over to Am. "We should probably begin mapping out the area, at least till we have a good idea of our surroundings then we can begin heading of in straight lines outwards to find the school. Now, let's go." Am replies, "Okay let's go." I say tqking the lead and heading what I believe to be north.

Now I can spend more time with my perfect girlfriend...

Chapter 9 will most likely be out next wednesday unless there are further delays.
