Y'all I don't know anything about real relationships...I was in one and it ended terribly so please excuse the cringe-worthy conversation scene with Justin and Alyssa. Yuck! Love makes my stomach hurt. ENJOY!!!

"James...what are you doing here?!" He stood there in the rain wearing all black. Hair drenched and sticking to his forehead. The harsh droplets sprinkled on her face as they flew into the doorframe.
"I got kicked out of my apartment and I don't have anywhere to stay."
And I care why? "Why are you telling me this? What do I have to do with this situation?" Alyssa stood with her left hand resting on her hip, the other hand behind the door ready to slam it in his face. She felt angry because of the last time he just showed up. Attempting to apologize.
"It's inappropriate for you to be here this late at night. You do know Justin has left for his flight already...hours ago?" [She didn't realize her mistake at letting him know she's alone]
"I just got off the phone with him. He's already landed and at his hotel."
And he hasn't called me yet?
"He called you first?" Her throat tightened at the thought her husband called the man who violated her just before they were married.
"No, I called him." Alyssa exhaled a breathe she never knew she was holding.
"So....?"
"He said I could stay here."
"Bullshit!" Alyssa cursed louder than she planned to.
"Do you want to call him? I'm sure he'd answer your call right away. Don't trust me? Call him right now." James challenged.
Alyssa stood there unable to react. Helena walked around the door to face James as well. "What's the issue? Oh! James....it's you...why are you here?"
"I don't have a place to stay. Hell, I called my family up and they didn't wanna help me. I basically had to beg my own brother to help me out until I can get back on my feet."
"I hope that isn't going to be a long time from now. I have a job and a life too. I can't have another person to look after. Or worry about when I'm not home." Alyssa turned her head to the side in frustration at Justin for allowing such circumstances. She walked away from the door and pinched the bridge of her nose. Eyes beginning to pool with water but she brought herself to regain composure.
"I'll get the guest bedroom ready for you. Wait downstairs and I'll come to get you when it's ready. James slowly walks into the foyer and removes his shoes. They're soaked and dragging a lot of mud. He takes his socks off and puts them in the small duffel bag he is carrying. That's the only bag he has too. Helena joins Alyssa upstairs to make the bed and gather toiletries from the hallway for James to shower.
"Alyssa...you don't believe him, do you? You think Justin will just let him around you when he acts the way he does?"
"I trust my husband. If he thinks James will behave himself, I believe it too. And hope and pray he doesn't act up otherwise I won't hesitate to call the cops on him."
"Girl you better watch your back. Especially with him around and you're here all alone."
"Hel you're being paranoid. I'll be fine."
"I got your back for tonight boo! But if he tries anything tomorrow or any other day you better call me and tell me...well call 9-1-1 first, then me."
"Oh my God, you're funny as hell! Stop making comments and help me get these sheets on here please ma'am." Alyssa and Helena quickly set up the room. Grabbed some towels, toilet paper, and soap for James. They then left the room and went downstairs to find James sitting on the sofa with only boxers on and drinking the rest of their wine.
