MACKENZIE'S POV:
Droopy and unwanted tears drowned my eyes. As the liquid continued to achingly drip down my face, and into my now-damp shirt, I walked. I walked and I walked and I walked– to the direction of Johnny's house.
I'd needed to see him. Lauren's word's recited in my head like a song stuck on repeat, it's me or him. And instead of disintegrating into tears, I ran. I'd just wanted to get away from everything, to have a shoulder to cry on. Johnny happens to be that shoulder, as he's the only one I truly trust right now. He's always been there for me, rendering me to feel protected and loved is his specialty. I'd required to tell him everything.
I honestly didn't think it could get any worse, but I'm even more broken inside. Karma had finally come back to bite me, and I'd decided to run to the single person who fancies me over anyone else.
My fisted hands sloppily wipe my cheekbones, then make contact with Johnny's familiar black door. Waiting with nothing other than silence and my occasional sobs, Johnny's hands creep onto the edges of the door.
His worried yet puzzled expression brought back memories from the previous night, although I wasn't drunk this time. Instead, I was completely broken inside, craving to escape this being we call life.
I smile mentally at the ruffled hair poking out of his hoodie, the anxiety and pitifulness from before decaying with a single glance at him. Falling with a breath of relief into his arm's, he softly speaks the words "come inside."

"What is it? What's wrong?" Johnny hurried out his word's the second my bum had made contact with the couch. My tears had faded by now, my frown yet to leave my face. Not having the energy to smile informed Johnny I wasn't in the best mood.
His eyes shrieked worried, I only sigh. "It's Lauren. It's always Lauren. You should know that by now."
"Right," Johnny chuckled slightly, fingers attached to his chin as he contemplated. A short note of silence past by, Johnny's attention left the floor and glanced up at me. "What did Lauren do this time?"
My heart beat increases just pondering of what I was about to reply. How would Johnny react? Would he be mad that Lauren knew? I'd really only come here for comfort and assistance, but how was I supposed to explain to him that I'm now forced to choose between my boyfriend and Lauren?
"She know's," I mutter. Shutting my eyes with a light groan, I watch as Johnny grows concerned.
"Lauren? What does Lauren know?"
Biting down on my lip harshly, my brown eyes connect with Johnny's green ones. I could sense through the ethereal and delicate green pupils of his that he was worried, not only about me, but also for himself. "She knows about the vandalism. Carson told her."
Johnny facepalms, sinking back into the couch as he cleansed his face with his hands. An uncomfortable pit is quick to breed in my stomach, swelling up and encrypting me. I didn't know how Johnny would react, especially when I tell him I either go to jail, or lose him.
"And?" Johnny gulped, seeming more exhausted than anxious. "Are you kicked off of the clique? Isn't that what you wanted all along?"
I make out a slight giggle. If only that were the case. "No. I told your sister I wanted to leave, like you'd told me to do. But she wants me in, and now blames you for convincing me to leave." I then laugh mentally at how stupid my current scenario is.
