Chapter 21

Phone call

(Z: Zach, A: Alexia.)

Z: hey.

A: hi.

Z: are you free tomorrow?

A: yes, i am.

Z: wanna do a movie day at your place?

A: sure.

Z: i'll be there at 2 pm, ok?

A: ok, see you then!

Z: bye!

End phone call

*the next day*

It's 11am and Zach is coming in 3 hours. I couldn't sleep yesterday night because i'm nervous. I don't know why i'm nervous, probably because of what happened a few months ago right after he dropped out of school. I never talked to him about what happened.

I took a shower and chose an outfit. I grabbed some black skinny jeans and a simple white hoodie. I made a ponytail in my hair with my favorite light pink scrunchie. I put on my nike airs.

I needed to go to the supermarket to buy some snacks and soda. I bought popcorn and crisps. I bought Fanta and coca cola. When i got back home it was almost 1pm which means i only need to wait for one more hour.

At 1:23pm someone knocked on my door. I opened my door and saw it was Zach.

"I couldn't wait." He nervously smiled with his hand in his neck.

"Come in." This is awkward.

We both went to the couch and chose the first movie. Before it started i paused the movie to grab the crisps and popcorn. Zach helped me.

After 4 movies Zach suggested to go to chipotle for dinner. When we got back home with our food we chose a 5th movie.

Zach and i didn't really talked a lot during the movies. Sometimes i react on what's happening in the movie and Zach laughs.

When the 7th movie started i got kinda tired and laid on Zach's chest. We had a blanket to stay warm. The 8th movie was a sad movie and when it ended i had tears in my eyes. Zach noticed and hugged me. I snuggled in his chest and fell asleep.

The next morning i woke up still laying on Zach's chest. I saw he was awake since his phone was almost in my face. I didn't move. I saw he was texting the boys about me. The first message i saw was "Alexia is still sleeping, gosh she's so cute." It made me blush. Then Corbyn texted something "you guys really need to date." I want to but i'm scared he'll hurt me again. Zach texted: "I want to but i think she doesn't trusts me anymore." I do trust him. Not 100% but i do.

"I do trust you Zach." I said looking up.

"You do?" He turned off his phone and looked at me.

"Not 100% but i still do." I smiled and sat up straight.

"Will you ever trust me 100%?" He asked.

"If you show me you're worth it." I looked at my hands.

"I promise i'll show you that i'm worth your trust." He came closer and hugged me. When we pulled back our lips were only a few inches apart. I looked at his lips and he looked at mine. He leaned in and i kissed him. It wasn't a passionate kiss, just a simple one. When the kiss stopped we both smiled.

*a few weeks later*

Zach has been really good and he's trying so hard to show me he's worth my trust. And honestly it's working. Yesterday he asked me on a date and today he's taking me somewhere but he said it's a surprise.

*Knock knock*

"The door is open!" I yell after i heard someone knocking on my door.

"Just come and open it yourself, please! My hands are full!" I heard Zach yell.

"Okay!" I walked to the door and opened it.

"Close your mouth Alexia, or do you want my thing in your mouth?" Zach smirked.

"ZACHARY DEAN HERRON!" I yelled.

"Sorry!" He said.

He was wearing a suit and had roses in his hand.

"Are those for me?" I asked smiling.

"No, they're for my girlfriend." He said jokingly.

"What?!" I didn't realize it was a joke.

"It was a joke, calm down!" He said laughing.

"Good." I smiled.

"Put these in a vase so we can go." He handed me the roses.
