In this house we don't proofread like men

I woke up on the roof that me and party argued on last night. No way was I going back to sleep in the same room as him after that. I sat back where I was last night, my feet dangling off the side.

"Y/K/N?" I heard someone yell. I think it was Kobra.

"Up here." I called back, not moving from my spot.

I heard him climb up. "Where were you last night? I heard you and party shouting and you never came back in." He asked.

"I was up here. I hate him. He's so fucking stubborn, like you said." I answered with a scowl.

"You slept up here? You gotta be exhausted. You can take a nap in my room or something and I'll talk to party. But there's gotta be effort on your part too." He stood up.

"I am! He's the one being fucking rude!" I insisted.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night. Come on, let's get inside." We climbed down and walked in. Party was sitting on the couch with ghoul. I said hi to ghoul and ignored him.

Kobra led me to his room. "Sleep tight Y/K/N." He left and shut the door behind him. I looked around and his room was covered in posters, with dark red walls. I pulled off my boots and got comfortable on the bed. It's honestly the most comfortable thing I've slept on in years.

—————-honestly they sleep so much I'm sorry —————-

I woke up to party sitting on the floor near the bed, a comic book in his hands. He hadn't noticed I was awake yet. I watched as he turned the page, his bright red hair falling over his face. I closed my eyes again, shifting to get a better look when I opened them again. When I did He was looking back at me.

"Sorry for yelling at you." He mumbled, turning back to his book.

"Me too. Thanks for saving me or whatever." I said in a monotone voice. We laughed. "What 'cha reading?"

"It's this comic I like, called the umbrella academy. It's by this guy named Gerard way. He's in the city but he prints it in secret and sends em out to the zones." He showed me the cover. "It's these 6 kids with powers, but one was told she was normal her entire life, and she tries to start the apocalypse."

"Cool. Could I read it sometime?" I asked.

"Yeah. I've already read it, here you go." He closed it and handed it to me. I opened it and started reading. About halfway through the book I looked up to see party reading a different one. I have no idea where he got it because I hadn't seen him get up.

"Hey guys, I want my room back at some point." Kobra opened the door and gestured for us to leave.

"Thanks for letting me sleep here." I stood up and used my pointer finger to hold my place in the book

"No problem." Kobra replied.

I followed party out of the room. "Wanna go to my room I guess?" He asked.

"Sure." He lead the way to a room about the same size as Kobra's but with a bigger bed.

"Mi casa es su casa." He waved his hands around the room. It was covered in posters and drawings.

"Did you do these?" I asked, looking at a blaster with a rose sticking out of the end.

"Yeah. It's just a hobby." He shrugged, sitting down on the bed.

"You have serious skills! This is the coolest thing ever!" I looked around more before sitting next to him and opening the book.

"Woah that was great!" I said after finishing. He looked up me in surprise, probably not expecting me to yell out after being quiet for so long.
