Part 1 - Bai Qian and Ye Hua's Wedding

It is Bai Qian and Ye Hua's (Crown Prince) Wedding Day and everything was glorious. Love and excitement filled the Heavens.

Every High God and Goddess from all realms attended the special day with much anticipation. Everyone was in such high spirits and gathered together to celebrate this monumental event with the heavenly bride and groom.

Chatter and laughter flooded the Heavens for days as the sights of the High Gods pleased the lower deities greatly. Many have only heard of their greatness in story books and scriptures and to finally be able to see them from afar were simply a dream come true. Many were grateful for this rare opportunity as they knew that if it wasn't for the Heavenly Wedding, many wouldn't have ever had the chance to attend the same event or breathe the same air as the High Gods - this was the highest honour indeed.

(A Week BEFORE the Wedding!)

Fengjiu was now crowned the Queen of Qing Qiu and as Queen she had to represent her tribe well at all times.

Aunt Bai Qian had requested Feng Jiu to return to the Heavens to help with the final Wedding preparations. Feng Jiu originally thought that she had gotten out of helping her Aunt as she had done a very good job at staying away from her and the Heavens throughout this time but when her Aunt summoned her, she of course obliged dutifully. Feng Jiu loves her Aunt and wants to throw her the best Wedding imaginable because that is what she deserves but going back to the Heavens was still so hard for her...

When Feng Jiu got to the Heavens, she quickly busied herself aimlessly with all the chores her Aunt asked of her to ensure that she would stop herself from thinking about her most beloved, Donghua Dijun but no matter how busy she was with her time, he would always invade her mind.

Whenever her feelings overwhelmed her and she felt sad and alone, she would visit Si Ming and Cheng Yu as they have always been her best friends and always knew what to say or do to cheer her up. If she was truly honest with herself, she knew that being around them made her feel closer to Dijun especially when she could no longer be with him.

It was clear that no matter how much she tried to hide it, her feelings for Dijun has and will always remain the same.

When it came to the matter of the heart, Feng Jiu has always been very stubborn with it. She knew exactly what and who she wanted. Feng Jiu has always been a hopeless romantic, she believed that if you are lucky enough to find your one true love, then you must do all you can to treasure and hold onto it with everything you have. So it was impossible for her to let Donghua Dijun go. He was that person for her especially after everything they had been through. To her, a love so real, so beautiful and rare was so hard to fine and worth fighting for. So she made up her mind from the day she fell for Donghua Dijun ethat no other man or deity could ever come close or replace her one true love. So no matter how many times Dijun rejects Fengjiu or tell her to let him go, she could never do it. Her love for him ran too deep. It consumed her completely.

To Feng Jiu, Dijun will and has always been her husband ever since their trials in the mortal realms but she finally realised that her love alone is not enough to keep him. He couldn't be with her. She had always known that his duty to the Heavens and the realms always came first and this never bothered her. Instead, it made her love him more as she admired his selflessness and determination.

Even after Dijun's final words to Feng Jiu at the Heaven's Gate - Destined or not, Feng Jiu still held on and believed in her heart that somehow there was still a way for them to be together. All she had was a flicker of hope and no matter how small the chances may be, she couldn't let herself forget Dijun.

Although years has passed, Feng Jiu, could remember their encounter so clearly as if it was only yesterday when Dijun finally acknowledged his feelings for her but it was short lived as they still couldn't be together because Dijun had removed his own name from the Rock of Three Lives Incarnation sacrificing himself for the good of the realms.
