Dijun turns up at Fengjiu's home, she was not expecting any visitors and wished her boss would have called first and have given her some notice so she had time to make herself look a bit more presentable. She was in her casual lounging wear with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. She took a deep breath and welcomed him in and she offered him some tea.
Dijun was just as handsome as Fengjiu remembered from the hospital. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black chinos and a black denim jacket. So simple yet effective. Fengjiu turned away so he wouldn't see her blush.
Dijun needed to check on Fengjiu's soul.
She was feeling a lot better, most of her bruises have gone and has been using the past week to research and learn as much as she could. She was still adjusting and so was Dijun.

After they finished drinking the freshly brewed tea, Dijun suggested for them to get some fresh air and to grab lunch together. Fengjiu was not expecting to go out. She has been stuck indoors since the accident and have wanted to go out for days now but her family has kept her in until she fully recovers. She was getting cabin fever and was very happy to oblige her boss.
She thought to herself, her dad couldn't get mad if it was her boss's idea. Excited, she quickly excused herself for a few minutes to change into a pair of jeans, a jumper and let her hair down. She looked in the mirror, no time for make up and thought *this will have to do* and was very eager to go out and explore.
Before she left, she wrote a note to her Father to say she has gone out with her Boss to go through returning to work and will be back after lunch and for him not to worry, she has the home address saved in her phone and money in her purse for a taxi. She was still finding her way around texting so she took a photo of the note and sent it to her Father without needing to type it out. Dijun watched her and was impressed at her improvisation.
They headed out, Dijun's driver was waiting outside, he was very apologetic towards Fengjiu and told her if she ever needed anything, he will always happy help etc.
Dijun took Fengjiu to a lovely restaurant overlooking Huangpu River. As they walked into the restaurant, Fengjiu felt a bit under dressed. Had she known they would be going to somewhere this fancy, she would have opted for a different outfit. If only Boss had given her a heads up...
Nevermind, she was here now, so she tried to distract herself and looked at the menu but the prices caught her eye... a starter was the cost of a full meal for her and her dad combined. Panic struck her face, she didn't have enough money on her and she looked up at Dijun and mumbled 'um... I'm not that hungry.'
Dijun looked at her and said 'Lunch is on me - it's the least I could do after your accident.' Guessing that she is not accustomed to ordering in the Modern World, he asked if she would like him to order for her. Fengjiu nodded and instantly relaxed a little, she told Boss he didn't need to take her to such an expensive restaurant and she would pay him back but he just waved his hand and told her not to worry.
