The Hotel function room for the LEM Film Premier after party was packed and super busy - it was nothing what Fengjiu had anticipated. The decor was crazy, lights everywhere, candles along the tables, 3 bars and loud music pumping throughout the room. It was a lot to take in. She wasn't used to club like events.
Every where you turned, there were models, singers, directors, film stars and business investors. It was overwhelming. Fengjiu stayed close to Boss and he noticed that she seemed very nervous, so he offered her his arm. She was grateful for his gentlemanly ways. It put her to ease and she started to get used to the atmosphere around her.
Boss was talking to business investors, every so often, Fengjiu would sneak peaks at Boss. She loved the way he made her feel. No matter how out of depth she felt, as long as he was around, she instantly felt better. He gave her confidence and he was slowly but surely breaking down her walls.

Ju Nuo (Ju Ju an aspiring model - Aranya's cousin) was also at the after party tonight. She spotted Aranya and couldn't believe that she was also invited tonight.

The gorgeous man next to her didn't go amiss either. She asked around and found that he was the CEO of Dong Empire - Aranya's boss.

Ju Ju has always been jealous of Aranya, her beauty, her easy going temperament and her cleverness. Everywhere she went, attention followed and Ju Ju would be left unnoticed and seen as second best. She hated her for it and now she shows up in the same event on the arm of a gorgeous CEO - showing off!
Unfortunately, Ji Ji Heng also attended this event. Her whole modelling Agency was there and she knew that Dong attended every year especially when the event was held in one of his many Hotels. She saw him straight away but he was with HER.
**Why is SHE here? Shouldn't she be at home nursing a bad stomach? It looks like SHE is harder to get rid of than I thought. Why is SHE holding onto Dong's arm all night like a leech. Who does she think she is. Dong never used to let me be on his arm for too long, he would complain that it is too clingy and he hated public attention. What makes HER so special? Throughout the night, she kept trying to catch Dong's eye whilst walking and brushing past but he showed no interest and ignored her. He could see what she was doing and gave her no attention what so ever. This angered Ji Ji even more. So she waited until Aranya went to the ladies to get Dong all to herself. She looped into his arms, moved his hand on her waist and pressed up against him then gave him two kisses. After greeting her, he let her go and moved away.
Dong's rejection hits Ji Ji hard but she tries not to show it.
