Before we met

It is funny to think that we were in the same middle school for all three years, but we didn't know that because we met in eighth grade. I went to an elementary school, that not a lot of people from our middle school went to, so to the middle school I guess I was considered new because I barely knew anyone. I just had to make new friends along the way and figure it out. In sixth grade it was exciting because it was the first year of middle school and it was so easy. I mean besides the silent lunches, conduct cards, and dress codes, but at least academically it was. I literally got silent lunch on the first week of school because I forgot to bring a book to class, oh boy my mom was mad at that teacher, but oh well I got over it. Dress coding was just annoying because I got dress-coded for a spaghetti strap being shown under my tank top that was three fingers wide, yes that rule, but that was the same teacher that gave me silent lunch. I think she just had something against me, but don't worry I survived sixth grade and then moved onto seventh grade.

Seventh grade was good because I reconnected with one of my friends from elementary school in Georgia, it was in math class , and she was friends with one of my friends ..we became close instantly. This is not the friend that I am dating by the way, I am just saying how seventh grade went. I decided to audition for the spring musical for the school and it was Lion King jr. That is when I realized I wanted to do drama. That show was so much fun and a lot of stuff happened like one kid fell off of stilts. Then apparently one person was on stage, changing the set, and the lights came on, so he had to get off quickly. Nothing else was interesting for me to remember for seventh grade.

Eighth grade sorta started with me "dating" this guy named Jacob and we reconnected around August or September, after we haven't seen each other in three years.  We went to different middle schools, didn't have couple characteristics, and we were more friends with a title. No one knew I was dating him because he went to a different school. Literally my whole drama class didn't know till we were dating for 3 months. My favorite part about Eighth grade was the show-based drama class because I made so many friends in that class because we all liked the same thing, and that was theatre. The first people I started out being friends with were Ciara, Angelina, Jada, and Hannah. I just knew they were such amazing people to be around. Angelina was also in my math class and she would talk about her friend Dakota, who was also in our drama class, and I didn't even really know who he was. In drama we had one act , American Revolution in 40 minutes or less, but we didn't ever talk during that. Then, there was a joke about Will and I being twins. I don't fully remember how that happened, but what I do remember is that Ciara made the whole drama class say happy birthday to me, and it wasn't even my birthday.

The spring musical was coming up, so I auditioned and got in. So did Angelina, Will, and Dakota. Everyone in our drama class liked Will except me, literally, well okay also except the lesbians. One day at rehearsals I sat with Angelina and her friend Isabella and they both liked Will and Dakota, mainly Will, but they invited both to sit with us. At one point I guess Will, Dakota, and I became triplets, I don't know middle school is weird. I told Angelina and Isabella that I was going to get their numbers because I didn't like them and honestly just to show them that I could. When I got them I showed them and said, "and that's how you do it ladies." Weird I know. What is even weirder is I just met my future best friend by doing that.
