Dating my best friend

I love you.

To me it is weird to think last year we were just best friends, but now he is my boyfriend and best friend. I am so lucky to have him. I am so lucky to have his family. I love his parents. They called that Dakota and I liked each other before we even admitted our feelings to each other. I am glad that his parents and my parents get along. I am so grateful for that.

He has three siblings. Bailey, Arabella, and Alayna. Bailey is the oldest, Dakota is the second oldest, then Arabella, and Alayna is the youngest. They are all just so sweet. It took me a while for Bella to like me, but I am getting there.I get along with all of them and it's cool for me because I am an only child, so it's the closest thing to siblings I have.

One day, it was a week ago when I wrote this section, we were playing the switch with Bella and Alayna. I was laying on Dakota's shoulder and then I had my arms around him. I was thinking ...woah this is weird that this has only been going on for three months. I looked at the girls. I looked up at him. I looked at the game. I looked back up at him. He moves forward and I move closer. I look at him and smile and then we kissed. I like to remember small moments like that. Every time that happens I just remember that I am so lucky.

Dakota if you are reading this because I decided to let you, then I wonder if it took a lot of convincing. I I am scared that you will just judge because you did when I showed you the first page.  I took a lot of time and effort to write this, so I hope you appreciate it.

Besides that I would like to say thank you for everything you have done for me. One day I will never forget was Valentine's Day. That meant a lot to me and still it feels like that was a dream. I know we have been through disagreements, but I will love you always no matter what. We are there for each other and we rely on each other. I do not know what I would do without you. You are so amazing, hard-working, cute, intelligent, thoughtful, kind, and the list goes on. I love you.
