Reverse back to the events on the first day of school in Skyfeller Academy High...

Reyna did not dare to hesitate opening the door to the headmaster's office. The wooden door had a window, and through that window was the presence of the headmaster.

Reyna's family has been affiliated to the school for a very long time, especially her mother. Her mother was in charge of the Skyfeller's advancement office and publicity affairs for as long as she could remember. Her father was a mechanical engineer, and her little brother Joey was.....well, her very annoying brother obsessed with taking every little thing apart in order to "analyze" it. There was no joking around with the Tasslemeyers, as they took everything too seriously and analyzed every little detail of everything- which is actually not bad as a trait, but only to a certain extent.

Reyna considered herself the most normal out of their family. She had to keep it that way, as she knew the nasty consequences in high school. Especially outside of it.

The piercing gaze of the headmaster stood scarily unwavered from Reyna as Reyna approached the door. Turning the knob, Reyna walked into the office of the headmaster.

The office was like any other, barren beige walls much like the cafeteria hung frames of the past headmasters. More plaques engraved in brass also were hanging on the walls, revealing past accomplishments of the students. Clipped newspaper articles were framed and also put on these walls.

The headmaster is sitting in a slouch in the office chair, tapping one of her heels on the floor and clearly anticipating Reyna's visit. "Why salutations."

"Hello." Reyna replies, taken aback by the formal greeting.

"Have a seat." the headmaster takes out a cup and a steaming tea kettle. "Tea, Reyna darling?"

"Yes, please."

"Cream and sugar?"

"Sugar would suit me just fine."

"That's good." the headmaster pours some tea into the cup, passing it to Reyna.

Reyna looks down at the cup, scoops some sugar into it, picks up the saucer, and daintily drinks the tea from the cup.

"Do you know why you're here?"

"I'm afraid not."

The headmaster raises an eyebrow, putting the tea kettle on the desk behind her. "Really?"

"Should I be worried?"

"Of course not, dearie." the headmaster turns back to Reyna after plugging the tea kettle back into the outlet. "It's just....it's about what had happened during the rules and regulations orientation in the cafeteria. We may have a growing problem on our hands, possibly started by you without realizing it."

"What do you mean, headmaster?"

"Well, you know our expectations. Skyfeller's mission- in fact, any school's mission- is to make sure young people such as you, Reyna, are trained and disciplined in their education in order for them to grow into fine adults that will one day change our world. Isn't that true?"

"Of course, headmaster."

"Well, your testing against me during that presentation leads me what I'm about to say."

"What do you mean, headmaster?"

"When I was talking more in the orientation, that table was talking out of turn, going amongst themselves like there is no presentation at all. When I walked over to discipline those freshman about how this is not how young ladies and gentlemen behave, you, a senior, had stepped out of turn to say quite the opposite. Do you know what you've started, talking back against me in front of everyone like that?"

"They said absolutely nothing. My table was neighboring theirs. I would know when freshman would talk. You know what I've done before."

"Yes, and Erin Ritchie is definitely not envious of you," the headmaster replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

That stung Reyna. Erin Ritchie was the perfect definition of the stereotypical rich, private school kid who always got what she wanted, at one point or another. They were both fierce rivals, more Erin hating Reyna than vice versa. Erin hated her as much as a cockroach that might hide under her 15,000 dollar luxury dresser.

"My point is," the headmaster began again, "that things like that cannot go unpunished. If I let such a defiant action go unpunished, especially from someone like you, Reyna, the others might take note, and there will be an uprising in Skyfeller. I do not want that to happen. Do you understand?"

"Yes headmaster."

"Very good. I will let it go this time, but such events better not happen again, especially from a good-mannered lady like you. Your mother, by the way, has been told about this."

Reyna finished the last of her tea and set the cup and saucer on her lap.

"Oh, and Reyna?"

"Yes headmaster?"

"I'd like you to keep a good eye on the freshmen for me please."

Basically, be a snitch for the headmaster, Reyna thought quietly.

"Especially on that student Stella Galante."

"Who?"

"Stella Galante, the new freshman there. Help her find her place."

"What do you mean?"

"Stella, I've heard, had acted up on one of the teachers today, speaking of rebellion and freedom and creativity, according to a recent account. If her behavior continues, she may become an imminent threat to Skyfeller Academy High."  the headmaster emphasized. "Which was why I called you here. Just be aware, Reyna."

"Okay then." Reyna didn't know what else to say. Stella, that freshman out of all people in Skyfeller, speaking of rebellion? It was only the first day!

"You may go now. Whatever is discussed in my office stays in my office, as the rules state...If you remember. I need to attend a quick faculty meeting about the first day."

With that, the headmaster left, her high heels giving their clack, clack, clack sound on the tiles behind her.

Reyna set the cup and saucer on the desk and quietly left to go to her class.

Meanwhile, Dex silently packed up his stuff to go to his class as well, trying to take in everything said in the office.

Wait until they hear about this, Dex thought excitedly, stuffing the last of his notes in his bag.
