October 27th
Stella showed the ID to the annoying guard with the taco (as usual; he always got something from Taco Bell) and walked into Skyfeller. Halloween was coming around the corner, and so far she was already ticked off that at least 99.9% of the girls in Skyfeller were going to dress up as "cute cats" for Halloween. She, however, was going to be a dementor from Harry Potter; if she dressed up as a cat, she might as well puke her guts out to scare everyone. Not a bad idea, right?
Back to today; today was a special day for Skyfeller. The school was taking a field trip today to the local nature center! Though Stella didn't really care about the field trip, many students did.

"I still don't understand why we should keep wearing our school shoes for a nature trip." a girl scoffed to one of her friends. "Like seriously, these are my only pair for school. They should make us wear different shoes."
"I know right!?" her friend replied, looking into her compact mirror and studying her face. "Ugh. This zit's killing me."
"Don't mind the freaking zit! You look fine." the girl sighed, and they walked on to their classes.
Dex took some time to organize some of his locker, then grabbed the books he needed for the day. With Tony out (Tony was out of school a lot, and this is no exaggeration) and being by himself, he went over to hear a little about the varsity football snapper telling his plans to go deer hunting next month to the other guys.
"It's going to be awesome! My uncle is doing bow hunting right now, but I'm going to shoot myself a 10-point buck when November comes with my new gun!" the guy drabbled on.
Dex couldn't help but snicker over the others' amazement and their blatantly stupid questions about hunting. He had gone hunting before with his dad before he left, so he had thought all guys go hunting at least once in their lifetime, or at least know what happens; clearly they didn't. This was Dex's assumption before attending Skyfeller, and boy were these aristocratic guys deprived of such! At least, this was his own opinion on the matter.
Meanwhile, Reyna talked to another sophomore girl all about the events that would happen on Halloween and Christmas.
"Yes, that sounds about right. We also may have a Masquerade Ball and a Fall Festival."
"I thought Masquerade Balls never existed in high school! That'll be cool!" the girl replied excitedly.
"Well, this is Skyfeller Academy High for you. Anything can happen." Reyna said with a reassuring grin.
The hallways suddenly came to an abrupt silence. The crowded hallways parted like a tide, revealing a pathway for a certain important person.
Erin Ritchie sashayed her way through the path like a catwalk, waving and smiling to everyone in the hallway. Some of the freshman looked impressed. Some stopped what they were doing in sight of her like deer caught in headlights.
Erin stopped at the sight of Reyna, making her way over to her instead. The people followed to see what she would do.
"Well! If it isn't Reyna Tasslemeyer!" Erin scoffed in disdain.
"Hello to you too, Erin," Reyna replied sarcastically, her voice cold.
"You do know there are no bags allowed on this trip, right?" Erin remarked, pointing out what was in Reyna's hand.
"I'm not an idiot, Erin," Reyna replied, quickly thinking up a lie. "This is for our project due next week. You do know that our science project is due next week, right?"
Erin gave a "tsk", then said sweetly, "Idiot's a very bad word to call someone, you know."
"I never called anyone that, I just said that I was not an idiot myself, last time I checked. Did you check yourself too in your new 700-dollar designer wall mirror?"
"Watch your tongue, Tasslemeyer." Erin sneered. "Idiot's a very bad word to use in school, therefore you could deserve a trip to my aunt's."
"Grow up," Reyna was about to lose her patience with such a spoiled aristo-brat.
"Whatever, Tassleloser," Erin looked at her newly manicured nails. "I need to get ready for the nature trip. My Starbucks pumpkin spice latte is coming up to school pronto, so I need to get that over with as well before the bus arrives. Ciao!"
With that, Erin sashayed her way down the hall once again, with the freshman girls following her with glee.
Reyna went back to packing her stuff before the bus arrived to get her mind off of being mad at Erin. Just because Erin's aunt became headmaster just a few years ago doesn't mean that Erin is considered high and mighty over everyone else in Skyfeller.
It may take a long time for her to realize that before it's too late, Reyna thought.

"Please excuse this interruption," the speaker droned in the middle of class. "The bus has officially arrived. Please file out quietly in straight lines as you exit Skyfeller Academy High for our special nature trip."
