7. First battle

"Come on fairie, I don't really wanna hurt you first." Ban confidently whined.

"Like you're gonna hurt me anyway.." You replied rolling your eyes.

Then you grabbed on your swords, took a breath, and in a flinch you were behind him. Before he could even react you kicked him on the back causing him to go flying into the nearest tree. It took a sec from him to stand up. His body was crushed by the tree he laughed and turned around coughing blood.

"Oh, she strong." He smiled surprised.

You sighed, "I told you weren't gonna hurt me.."

His wounds started to heal, they closed by burning. He grinned. Then in a blink of an eye Ban was behind you getting ready for a punch, but you didn't seem worried. You raised your hand and suddenly a water wall protected you from his punch, it also gave him another fly further away from you.

"Hey that's unfair, it's like fighting Merlin meaning impossible." He whined fixing his standings.

Merlin laughed further as she investigated their fight, "Y/N you've improved with your powers."

"You could say that." You kindly smiled.

He tried to get you off guard, but you sensed him right away as he moved. He attacked you on many sides with his three-section staff, but you were fast enough to dodge them all with your swords. After countless attacks, he backed off.

"You know I can also read the nature it's hopeless to attack." You explained bored.

"Is that so."

Before he got to attack again Meliodas showed up from inside, you right away placed your swords back and took an impassive position. He looked at you but didn't seem to care.

"Yo we have some work to do, come inside."

Then he walked back inside, Merlin nicely following behind. You sighed a bit disappointed and Ban seemed to realize it. He looked at you compassionately but didn't dare to ask you anything as you started to walk inside too.

"Booooriinggg I was just getting started, but we'll continue later, right fairie?" He confidently walked beside you.

You sneered, "anytime you wanna get ass kicked call me."

He laughed.

Everyone was again gathered into the tavern, it seemed to become a habit. You and Ban were the last ones to arrive.

"So what's the rush captain you interrupted my fight." Ban let out immediately.

"You mean your-"

"Shut up." Ban interrupted you.

You started laughing.

"Well let's get it over with then," Meliodas stated and Merlin stepped out.

By hands on her hips, she began telling, "it has been discovered that the commandments have moved their base hidden from us. Arthur had a scouting group of five sent to investigate the recent location a couple of weeks ago. He had already, gave up on hope as one of the men showed up wounded roughly living on his kingdoms gates. He had enough life in him to tell they have moved somewhere, but before he managed to tell where, he stopped breathing."

"So for us first to do is find out where they're hiding."

"Why can't Merlin just locate them with her magic?" Ban whined.

"Since I have to know where I'm teleporting, otherwise we'd end up in limbo forever, which wouldn't really help anyone." Merlin rolled her eyes.

 Meliodas said, "So I insist we go separate, but in groups."
