You woke up outside and there was no one and nothing around, you stand up, it's foggy. You have no idea where you were or how you got there. You can't remember. Meliodas and others were nowhere to be found. You're all alone. You start to walk forward after a while it gets impossible to see in front of you. Then you perceive a figure meters away.
"Hey!" You shout at the dark figure that doesn't seem to respond.
"Hey!" You try again.
Your steps become more rushed, "who are you, hey!"
The figure turns and starts to run away, "hey wait!" You try and start to run after it.
The figure keeps running and hopelessly you try to keep up with it, you stumble on a root and hit your head on the ground. You feel a tiny bleeding cut above your left eyebrow, you reach your hand to it, and quickly it's stained with the dark red color.
"Shit", you curse under your breath and stand up, "where'd it go."
You start heading forward in the way that person went, quickly you sense an open space you see a different figure in front.
"Hey!" You shout and rush towards it.
It stays still and as you reach closer you see a man holding a baby in his hands, a sharp headache snaps through your head. You place your hand immediately on your forehead. The man turns away from you and tosses the baby away.
"No!" You shout, but it's too late.
You rush at the edge pass the man, "why would you-", you angrily start and turn around to see that the man is no longer there, "do that..." You finish with a low tone.
You stand up, "what the hell is going on?"
"Y/N." You hear a whisper.
You look around, but don't spot anyone.
"Y/N." A different voice continues.
After it many different voices start to shout your name, it sounds like they've surrounded you, but you can't see anyone, you try to cover your ears to block the callings without succeeding. The voices sound so suffering it aches. It feels like they call for help from you, but how can you help something that isn't there? You go to your knees holding your hands on your ears wishing it would stop and then suddenly you hear nothing. You cautiously stand up placing your hands down. You see a figure limping towards you. You take a few steps closer, the fog fades, you see a hurt fairy. An oddly familiar one.
"Why did you do this to us Y/N?" He says.
"What do you mean?" You confusedly ask.
"Can't you remember? Look at us!" He furiously and suffered says and thousands of wounded people stand around you.
They start calling you by name, questioning why. Then it hits you, tears fill up your eyes your sight loosens. You once again try to cover the aching sounds with your trembling hands, for nothing.
"They screamed, they cried, shouted for help, yelled for mercy, but you showed none. Innocents died, but you didn't care, don't you remember?" An old man speaks.
"No, please stop!" You shout. "I didn't, mean to it- was an accident- I'm so so sorry." You cry out.
"But you did."
The voices get louder, it feels worse than getting hit by Gloxinia's spear. The flowing tears wet your face, your hands squeeze hard, but nothing seems to close your ears from the sounds, you feel like standing in blood. You close your eyes and bend back down on your knees.
"Make it stop!" You scream.
"Y/N, Y/N!"
You open your eyes to this familiar voice, you're in a bed, you stand to sit and see Meliodas holding you from your shoulders. Your eyes wet from crying, it was all a dream? Confusedly you stare at him. Your forehead feels sweaty and your hands were shaking a bit.
"It was just a nightmare you know." He gently jokes.
You say nothing just stare and turn your gaze to the window, it seems like you're moving. He steps further from you placing his hands on the back of his head.
"So you got what you wanted, we're starting with the plan of getting the commandments." He says, "basically we wanna divide them and attack them when they're on pairs or alone, it's only logical that way we actually stand a chance. So first we lure out Gloxinia and the earth giant green freakie whatever his name was and handle them somewhere far from villages to keep the civilians safe. " He explains.
The name sends shivers to your spine, your gaze drops and sight goes blurry again. Couple drops find their way on your lap onto your blanket, they make two connected moist circles on it.
"Y/N?" He cautiously asks.
You wipe the tears away and rise to face him, "yeah sounds great just fill me in later."
"And so I thought you were supposed to be mad at me." He lightly jokes with a pleasant smirk.
"Don't test me shortie." You fire back with a soft laugh.
"Fair enough."
You look back at the window it seemed the middle of the night, it was a bit of a blur how'd you end up in the bed from the fire, but you didn't care. There were way many other things on your mind to think about. That dream must have meant something, but why now it has been years since... The stars shone bright bringing hope into your eyes. He watched them gleam with an admirable look.
"Must've been a hell of a dream", he sighs.
You turn your head again, faking a smile, "well I can't remember much anymore."
He quickly smiles back knowing you lied, "anyways you should be well-rested on upcoming things."
"Yeah right", you answer back.
He grins and turns to the door.
You watch him approach it, "Meliodas!" He stops.
"I just wanted to thank you."
His grin widens and he turns around, "no biggie your constant rotation kept me awake anyway."
Your smile drops to a more annoyed look, "really? You just had to..."
"You know an apology wouldn't hurt either." He started.
"You just had to ruin this friendly moment, didn't you." You shake your head.
He softly laughs back.
A silence settles in the room, the reunion still feels a bit unrealistic to fully think through.
"Well, frenemy let me get my beauty sleep." You let out and he grins back leaving the room.
