You thought you were getting close the tavern as you saw lights of another village, so I just got off to the town next door before regretting my decision, I've really grown soft, huh? You decided you'd had enough of town streets and headed for the forest for a detour.

It had been three months since you showed up into the Fairy King's forest as little Alice and crashed into Ban who brought you to others. It hadn't felt like three months already more like a week to you. So much had happened and now the war was half won. So many things you thought you'd never get to do or see, you could do and see now, how amazing is that? You looked up into the sky it was still pretty dark even you felt like you had walked for hours, of course, you sped up your traveling at times with your magic, but it was exhausting. You hadn't slept at all for these past hours but you didn't feel like stopping before getting to your goal, which in this case was get back to your friends.

Suddenly you hear a stick-breaking behind you even if it was about 152 meters away from you you were able to hear it and turn around, "I can hear you! Just so you know!"

No answer as expected, you mean if someone was following you from distant why would they just reveal themselves.

Whatever, you think and turn back around to the way you were heading, and out of nowhere Gowther is standing there in front of you.

"Geez, you scared the crap out of me as usual," you let out after taking a step back.

He tilts his head, "back so soon?" He asks.

You fix your standings, "yeah.." You respond hesitating.

"Why so may I ask." He continues.

You take a breath, "I realized something sorta, and also it's not nice running away suddenly, I mean we're in the middle of a war right. No way I'm gonna miss a battle." You try to joke, but it's useless it's Gowther we're talking about after all.

He looks down causing his glasses to fall to his nose so he fixes them with her right hands pointing finger and looks back at you, "how it feels after meeti-"

"Meeting my biological dad? Like crap." You cut him off with a friendly smile, "nothing goes past you, it's weird. You're a doll created by Merlin who doesn't or didn't know his true identity, it's just weird. Plus you're impossible to read as a person." You take steps towards him.

"You know I'm kinda sorry about our last convo I judged you, but right now I don't think you're a bad person, I was partly wrong." You rant to his blunt face.

"How sweet coming from a demon, but your apology is fairly accepted." He blinks.

"Great," you smile shortly and start to walk past him, "and just so you know not that it be your business or anything, but I'm gonna tell everyone how I got my demonic genes." You say two meters away from him.

You keep walking without looking back behind you.

You've finally reached the tavern as the first sun rays start to rise. Tiredness finally started to hit on you, you stopped a couple of steps away from the door. Funny, like suddenly you didn't know how to open a door anymore. You were going through different ways to say "hi I'm back!" "Hi, I didn't leave for good!" "Hey, how's it going!" Every way just sounded dumb and ridiculous. You got even more tired from thinking you forgot you were standing behind a door probably looking like a walking corpse. But you weren't even gone that long just a few days.

Suddenly the door opened in front of you and a fragile textured figure appears there.

"Y/n?"

You blink your eyes a couple of times just to ve sure you're still awake. Not long after you recognize the person standing in front of you.
