"That's your second." Namjoon raised two fingers in the air before stuffing his face with toast.
"My second what?" I ask, spreading some butter on my toast, watching it softly melt into the bread.
"Dating scandal." Joy finished. "First Harry and now Shawn."
"Oh." I nod shyly, feeling Jimin's eyes directly on me.
"Did you guys actually...?" She trails off, not wanting to finish.
"No." I shook my head, hoping she'd believe the truth. "He just brought me home."
"I thought you said were were seeing him tonight?" Taehyung chimed.
"I am." I nod. "But it's nothing like that."
"So you guys aren't-" Joy continued to poke me with questions and it was the last thing I wanted to discuss in front of Jimin.
"No." I said instantly. "Why do you keep asking?" I softly laugh, distracting her from the annoyance I was feeling towards her.
Was I wrong for thinking she was purposely asking questions in front of Jimin?
She shook her head, looking away. "No reason."

The press had caught us leaving the venue together. In reality, he had only brought me home right after and he asked if he could have dinner with me. We we agreed on tonight.
Unfortunately, the press doesn't see it that way, and once again I am caught in another dating scandal.
Fortunately, the press has no evidence of anything scandalous happening- because nothing did happen- so the headlines are just about dating rumors and future romances. They've tried to hard to dig up some dirt about me just to knock me down, but they can't.
While I get ready for dinner, the doorbell rings. It was an hour and a half too early for it to Shawn, so I assume it's one of the boys. Pausing my music, I open the door and find Jimin on the other side.
"Hey." I smile, opening the door wider for him to enter.
He shook his head, smiling softly. "I know you have plans and I don't want to intrude. I just wanted to come by and say that I um- uh," He stutters as he tried to find the words to say. I watched as he struggled, wondering why he was acting so strangely. "I actually don't have anything to say." I laughs softly. I smile at his candidness, my heart fluttering at his warm smile. The smile that was absent this afternoon as we had lunch.
"Are you sure you don't want to come in?" I ask. "You can stay. We're just having dinner."
He shook his head, swaying back and forth on his heels awkwardly. He stays quiet and I observe him carefully, noticing the slight delay as if his mind was elsewhere. "I used to get really jealous at how close you are with the guys. Especially you and Jungkook. The way he hugs you and holds you and kisses your cheeks whenever he wants." Jimin smiles softly. "I still do sometimes. I know it's noting more than a friendship, but still." He shrugs. "But the jealousy I feel with Shawn is so much different. I hate him."
I furrow my brows at his sluggish words. Was he drunk?
"Jimin?" I reach for him, getting a better look at his eyes. They were bloodshot and droopy. "Are you drunk?"
He stayed quiet and it was all I needed to know he was.

"Why did you do that?" Jimin whispered, his hands playing with the blanket. "You can call Namjoon to pick me up. You don't have to cancel your date."
"First of all, it's not a date." I smile, brushing a strand of hair away from his forehead. "Second of all, I would much rather spend my night with you than anyone else."
"You'd rather spend it with a drunk?" He asked shamefully.
"It doesn't matter as long as it's you, Jimin."
