Flaw in the System

It's been a week and a half since they've been on the road.

Jae has officially decided that she hates living in and out of suitcases. Her moodiness increased which worried everyone and caused whisper feuds between Yoongi and Tae about if she was pregnant or not.

Everyone's limbs ached as they came to their 3rd hotel during their road trip.Jae had her two pink boxes tucked in her coat and complained about needing a shower. Namjoon just nodded and rubbed her back too afraid to say anything in case that it may anger the small.

Jae sighed as she followed Jin to their stay, B-lining to the bathroom as all her boyfriends waited out the door. With trembling fingers, she opened the box and set 4 tests out. She read some articles on how she should pee in a cup to get better results. She found a dixie cup and frowned at it. She carefully positioned herself on top of it and tried peeing as accurately as she could into it while chanting "It's like I'm at the doctors."

After the whole process, she set them out on the counter. She set the timer for 5 minutes on her phone and came out.

"Hey babe... How'd it go?" Hobi asked softly, opening his arms for a hug which she gladly accepted. She sniffled a bit and kept her tears at bay.

She felt dizzy but not at the same time and the acid was climbing her throat.

"I have to wait 5 minutes... I should have gotten my period three days ago." She grittered and gripped Hobi's jacket. The others sat in silence, not totally sure what to do or how to comfort her. Even Jungkook and Jimin who were most attentive during her sad times where unsure.

"Whatever happens, happens. Okay?" He whispers and sits the both of them down.

"But a baby-"

"A baby won't change anything between any of us. If you are pregnant, we can find a new place with enough space for all of us. We'll take shifts and make sure we're all rested and healthy. The baby will have 8 of us to care for it."

"We can decorate it's room. Choose names! Imagine a lil Jae or... boy." Jimin interrupted and giggled.

"We'll take turns picking them up from school, you can go to mommy and me meetings and like, we can attend meetings for them! Sign them up for dance or something." Namjoon said softly.

"We'll all help clean the house every Sunday and they'd help me in the kitchen." Jin said with a smile as he stared off at the coffee table. Jae looked up to see everyone's dreamy state as they all imagined it, smiles twitching at their lips.

"We can all play, read the books and help with homework!" Tae's eyes lit up at the thought of the baby.

"When they grow older, definitely give them the Sex talk and deal with an antsy teen." Jungkook chuckled as he crossed his arms.

"Watch it grow and feel our hearts ache together as we send them off to college. Let them be their own person." Yoongi sighs and for a moment, they all had a heart fluttering moment as they heard the shrill of an alarm.

"It's been five minutes." Jae whispers and looks up at Hobi.

He leans to give her a sweet little kiss and and hugs her tightly again, "Whatever happens, it doesn't change anything." He reminds her.

She stumbles up and the boys watch with a mixture of emotions. Some looked at her longingly, some worried, some terrified.

She came out with all of them in her hand and braces herself. They all watch with strained eyes and perked ears as she pulls one from the bunch.
