You thought you liked Kim Seokjin. Not liked as in romantically, but liked as in person-wise. You had a lot of things in common, contrary to what you had expected before meeting him.

A few days had already passed by since you last saw him. You wanted to spend time with him again. Somewhere you liked, such as an amusement park or an aquarium.

"Inviting him to go with me to an amusement park or aquarium sounds like I'm asking him out," you muttered grudgingly as you stared at Kim Seokjin's number.

Before you parted ways last time, he had saved his number as a contact in your phone. He also told you to ring him up if you wanted to meet again, or simply talk.

"Wait, why am I hesitating? It's just a friendly date," you mumbled to herself and she dialed his number.

Seokjin's ringtone was Falling In Love by 2NE1--something that made you chuckle softly. You had no idea he was into K-pop.

"Hello?" Jin answered after several seconds, his voice clear from the other side. "I never thought you were a Blackjack."

"Soohyun, did you call me just to tease me?" he replied, pretending to sound quite sarcastic, causing you to break into a laugh.

"Anyways, do you want to hang out soon?" you asked him, your eyes closed out of nervousness.

"I'm actually quite busy these days, but I'll make time for you," Jin responded almost too immediately and the corners of your lips twist into a smile.

"I'm free on Wednesday from noon until early evening. Is the date alright with you?"

"Yes, I have no classes on Wednesdays. Well, you must have a lot of work right now. I shouldn't keep you away from it any longer," you answered, "Bye."

"Of course. See you on Wednesday; bye."

Your attention shifted to the white-furred Pomeranian dog at your side who had just risen from a nap. "Good evening, Cloud."

Mrs. Kim rushed to the door as soon as she heard the doorbell ring. "Taehyung, Yoongi is here!" she shouted in hooes of being heard by her son who remained in his room all day.

"Good evening, Mrs. Kim," Yoongi greeted the woman with a courteous bow. "Here, I brought some brownies."

"Hello, Yoongi. Have you had dinner?" she inquired him as she received the box containing the desert secured with a red ribbon. "Yes, I dropped by Subway after work."

Yoongi entered Taehyung's room just to find the younger asleep in front of his computer. He pinched his cheek gently, waking him up.

"You're here? I must have dozed off while writing the first chapter."

"It's ok. Tell me what's the story about, though?" Yoongi answered as he walked up to a small shelf wherein collectibles and figurines as well as certificates and trophies were stored.

Taehyung regained his composure while yawning out loud.

"Basically, I created a world where supernatural beings exist such as grim reapers. In order to become a grim reaper, one should have committed suicide or murder in his past life. Also, his lifespan in his past life will be the number of minutes he will remain as a grim reaper.

"In this case, the main character, Park Chaewon, is a grim reaper. He passed away in his past life at the age of 149,396 hours. Therefore, in his present life, he will be a grim reaper for the same amount of time.

"But his life takes an unexpected turn just when he is about to join the underworld in a few months. He crosses paths with a girl, who is quite strange, because humans are not supposed to see, hear, or touch supernatural beings.

"You get the gist of it, hyung. It will take me hours to tell you the whole plot," Taehyung finished and he took a sip of the coffee in a mug on his desk which had already gone cold.

Yoongi shrugged and shot him a small gummy smile. "Yeah, yeah. But I bet it's worthy of being a bestseller."

Taehyung turned around on his chair to face the older. "I'm actually worried. I've never written a story with a supernatural or fantasy genre before."

"Hey, it's going to be alright. You got the talent and shit. Your fans would love it if you explored other genres too," Yoongi replied supportively in a you-gotta-cheer-up tone and his friend only smiled.

Jung Hoseok sat before his office desk, lost in thought. Min Yoongi did not come to work that day and the office was quieter than usual. He stared at his empty seat at the Editorial Team's section, and wondered what could have been the reason for his abscense.

"Jung, can you get me a cup of coffee?" Mr. Lee Jangwook, the head of the Marketing Team requested Hoseok. "Right away, sir," he replied before heading into the breakroom.

Just wait until I get promoted, Mr. Coffee Monster, he thought hastily as he poured hot water into a ceramic cup.

His senior had a habit of upsetting the new employees by giving them menial orders like he was testing whether they were patient enough to stay in the company.

After dipping the tea bag into the cup, Hoseok sighed heavily. He was not only at his wits' end but he was also troubled by the kiss.

God, it made his whole face red just thinking of it. He wanted to know why Yoongi did it. He wanted to know what it meant to him. Because those few seconds that his lips were on his, it made him gay forever.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," he chanted softly as his trembling hands fished his phone out of his pants' pocket.

Hoseok dialed Yoongi's number.
