Angelo's POV
JeremyWrites was his Instagram handle.
That was kinda cute.
Only kinda.
"That's so boring. If I ever meet that boy then I will tell him to change his Instagram username," My friend Ava said as she leaned over my shoulder.
Her twin sister sat on the other side of me and let out a chuckle. I rolled my eyes at my two best friends who were getting on my nerves. They weren't just twins, but identical twins. They both shared the same green cat eyes.
Along with the long red hair. The same kind of hair that people on the street say "That can't be there real color." However it is there real color. They were both five foot and barely came up to my shoulder.
Anyway no matter what they looked like, they were very sweet. I loved them and they loved me. I didn't have sisters yet they felt like my sisters. Jeremy's poems were actually very good, and I admired them.
"You met him yesterday?" Ava asked as she twirled in my fathers work chair.
"Yes. Apparently I got the wrong address when they sent my painting. He brought it back. He was cute." I added at the end of the sentence. Ava and Madeline exchanged glances with each other.
"You just broke up with Dylan." Madeline said and I nodded.
Did she seem to think that I forgot that?
"I know but I'm over it."
"Right."
"Whatever." I snapped back. Ava twirled again.
My families studio apartment was small. I liked an actual house like we had in Los Angeles. However my dreams were slowly crushed when my parents said we were moving to Edgewater, Chicago three years ago. Moving....again.
We rarely stayed anywhere for a whole two years. So the fact that my family stayed in Edgewater for three years shocked me. My father was opening the gallery so I felt like we would stay much longer then three years.
The studio apartment above the gallery was small and I felt like I had no air to breathe. At least my older brother isn't here to mock it and me. He was the perfect kid, artist, adult, the perfect human.
I also hated him for it. He got accepted into the most prestigious art school in Italy. He's a senior and I'm still living with my parents. He was a Freshman in college almost a Sophomore by my age.
I was just me.
A lazy artist.
My parents didn't like it either. However my parents are the carefree kind. They were the kind of parents where if I wanted drop out of high school, they would disagree but they would let me. I didn't but I was tempted.
I was pulled out of my thoughts as I stared down at Jeremy's profile. He posted a picture of himself. Just now. He had a large smile across his lips as he held up his left hand that looked manicured.
"Newly manicured nails. Love Manicure Monday1"
The caption read and I laughed. He seemed dorky. His blond hair fell in his eyes just right, and his green eyes seemed to match the twins. He had some of the longest eyelashes I think I've ever seen on a male.
They looked dark brown which was pretty but it didn't match his hair color. I liked it though, because it was cute. His cheeks looked beet red, I wondered if he was out in the sun to long. I just shook my head.
