Kusuo POV
It has been about a month since Y/n woke up. She remembers how to use several objects but forgot the names of them. I've been watching her since her parents aren't around to. School just started and she got a new start with everyone.
Sometimes a memory or two would resurface, but they were mostly child memories or simple things as playing with her bird. She doesn't remember me having psychic powers and I'll keep it that way for now.
There's been a new transfer named Aren Kuboyasu and Y/n seems to like him a lot. It bothers me when I see the two talk and have fun together.
Right now we're more of good friends rather than best friends like we used to be. Since she forgot me her hanahaki has been cured. Our relationship is slowly improving. I just hope I can get to her before somebody else. My love won't stop for her, I would destroy the world for her love. My throat has been itchy all day too. I walk to the kitchen and drink some water. Then I head back to my room and take a nap.
~~~
I woke up and realize it's about 6pm and the sun is setting. I decided to teleport to the mountain that Y/n and I always went to. I sat down and looked out at the sunset. I then lied down and looked at the orange-pink clouds. Memories began to flow through my head.
"Kusuo look at the view the sun is so pretty"
"Don't worry about me I only ran into 5 trees and got a few scratches!"
"Look at this flower Kusuo it's beautiful!"
"Thanks for taking me up here!"
I sigh knowing she probably won't remember the good times we had up here. I sit back up again. Just as I was about to leave I had a slight cough.
I looked up.
"Oh well you look at that. A twirling petal."
I watched as it danced through the air and taken afar by the wind.
