Running through alleyways I tried to loose the one behind me.
I was either quicker or he was trying to lend me somewhere.
I had to escape him while looking out for the other 6.
There was no sign of them anywhere.
Which made me think that they were either on top of buildings, or close by just watching, waiting for me to make a mistake.
I've done this numerous times.
More than I can count.
I knew the patterns.
I've been through all of them.
Every trap.
Every plan.
Even if I get injured I'm allways one step ahead.
That's how I survived for so long.
Being smarter than others.
I turned left into another alley.
My eyes cought a guy standing at the end of it.
Is that one of them?
I can't tell.
I won't take that chance.
Immediately I saw a latter at the side of one of the buildings at my right.
I went for it.
Both of them noticed.
They followed suit after me.
When I got to the top I tried to loosen up the hinges by kicking them, since the building looked old and run down.
If I had more time maybe I could do it.
They were near at the top, I could almost see their faces.
I kept kicking the hinges furiously and almost broke them when a hand grabbed my left legs ankle.
The person had a mask covering the bottom half of his face and with eyes piercing through me.
A look that I could recognize everywhere.
A look that I've seen countless times.
The look of a killer.
It didn't mean anything to me though.
I've seen worse.
With much force my free foot landed on his face. Causing him to let my other go.
I kicked the hinges one last time and the latter broke free from the wall and fell backwards.
Making them to let go and fall on the ground.
I didn't stay to see If they were alive or not.
They probably are fine, the height that they fell from wasn't that high.
I started running on top of the roofs of buildings.
I knew that they would be on my tail from the road in seconds If they aren't already.
I could see that they were professionals.
They didn't speak loudly for me to hear, probably having earpieces so that they can communicate with each other.
They also didn't leave enough room for mistakes.
They were thorough with their moves.
Quick, precise, experienced.
