The Tale of Cup Noodles

Chapter 5: Cup Noodle City

When Kaguya, Hide, and Sora were walking, the yellow noodle path ended. When their bare feet touched the hard floor, they had missed the noodle path already. It led them into a small city. The border was a tall steel fence, and there was a big golden gate guarded by armored men. Then, there was a big sign that said, "WELCOME TO CUP NOODLE CITY!" There was a big yellow smiley face next to those words. Then, one of guards said, "Papers please".

They didn't know what to do since they didn't have any. They weren't really good at hiding their concerned faces. "W-what should we do?" whispered Sora. "How am I supposed to know?" asked Hide. Kaguya didn't want to get in trouble so she said, "You guys figure this out. You guys are men right?" Sora didn't like that. Hide agreed though. "OF COURSE" asserted Hide with a proud face. Gradually, it became more and more painful. He was sweating and his face was really pain.

While this was going on, one of the guards started whispering to another guard. Sora was observing. It turned out, he had a pretty sharp ear. He heard the words "They... Cup Noodle... Picture... Matched appearance..." and the rest was blurry. "Really?" says one of the guards that were bad at whispering. All of a sudden, one of them asks, "Are you the new cup noodle gods?" He looked a little young and inexperienced. "Uh YEA DUHHH" declared Kaguya. They're faces looked shocked for a slight second. Then, they got on they're knees and said, "We are so sorry for not recognizing such important people. We, as border patrol, should be punished" They were all surprised. "Well of course but I'll forgive you today." said Kaguya. Hide was really relieved. Sora knew that the guards were talking about whether they were the Cup Noodles Gods or not. So they did sort of lie about them not knowing, but he was the only one that knew.

They finally got in through the border. Sora heard, "See? I told you it was them" He pretended he didn't hear that. They stepped back into a road. Standing on it felt even better than the noodle path. It looked same as the noodle road except it felt warmer and nicer. All three of them felt it, but they didn't know what was going on so they stayed silent.

The city was very lively. "Aww the kids are so cute" Kaguya pointed out. "I wonder how many cute girls there are?" added Hide. "Shut up you pervert" exclaimed Kaguya. There were a lot of buildings, homes, grocery stores, homeless shelters, hospitals, police stations, firefighter stations, etc. The malls had so much glass windows. The street food smelled so good. All three of them wanted some, but didn't want to admit it. On a second thought, nevermind. "AH I REALLY WANT SOME!" cried Kaguya. Her mouth was drooling, she couldn't hold her thoughts in anymore. "Y-yea maybe we should try some" suggested Sora.
