Holly's pov

Omg omg omg!!!! Me and ross are offical!! I think. I mean he kissed me everyone saw it. Doesnt that mean something ? I mean he still hasnt asked me out. Im gonna make a deal with myself. If he doesnt ask me by next month when i have enough money to leave then im over him and i'll buy a cat it will be the first of many. I guess were not offical. Where is haley? " where is haley?" I ask from the kitchen , biting into my apple.  "she went out with andy " rocky wiggles his eyebrows. " where is ryland?" i ask . " he went on a walk with hannah " he smiles. " where is ross?" i ask once more. " he's hanging out with laura" rocky shrugs . my heart sinks a little. i mean laura? what about me he always hangs out with laura when i wanna be with him. i shrug it off. " what about riker and rydel?" i ask rocky starts laughing " rydel dragged him out to go shopping " he nearly has a heart attack from laughing. "so its just you and me ?" " actually.......... ratliff is coming over to play video games on the xbox " he frowns. " so im by myself then?" i frown. " sorry holly i would love for you to hang out with us but we haven't had a guys night in forever. are you ok do i need to cancel?" he asks suddenly worried. " no you have fun i'll just go find something to do " i shrug and hop off the counter . i walk upstairs and get dressed. i change into a long sleve plain white t shirt( its october now) , some grey skinny jeans, a creme and grey wool scarf around my neck and a grey straw hat. i don't care if you say california is hot all year long, its not . it actually gets a little chilly in these times. i grab my phone and wallet and don't bother putting on make-up i walk downstairs and ratliff and rocky were already playing video xbox games. "hey holly!" ratliff smiles and waves at me. " hey " i wave back. i have no car to take so i guess im walking. it was a bright and sunny day and it felt great outside so i don't see why not. i quickly zipped up my boots and start down the sidewalk. my back pocket( which held my phone) started buzzing . i pull out my phone. ~amy~ amy is my best friend in colorado we never hang out or talk or anything but she calls me a few times a year to see how im holding up . my life was a mess before i came to califonia but its piece by piece starting to make sense. i answer .

h- im fine actually and you?

a- im great. i actually went by your house earliar i thought i owd you some time in person but no one was home

h- yea well we sorta took a family trip you could say

h- california

a- oh wow thats cool

a- i would love to hang out when you get back home

h- yea me too

a- i gotta go my brother got his head stuck in the toliet again

a- yea i seriously have to go bye!

she hangs up right as i finsh the word 'bye' . she came by the house?and i missed it. my phone starts ringing again this time it was ~littleton high~ my old high school. (l- littleton, h- holly)

h- umm hi?

h- may i ask why your calling

l- ok im right. holly you have skipped school for the past 5 months this is unexceptable

h- you don't understand i-

l- you have been expelled from littleton high if you even step foot on campus you will be taken to country junevnille for trespassing

h- seriously i have an explination that you need to hear

l- your explination has been in no need of this school no excuses we will call your mom to tell her about this

h- wait!

l- you've got 24 hours

the school hangs up. ugh! i got kicked out of high school. this is bad. what am i gonna do? mom doesn't even know i ran away . she's gonna kill me. now i have to call her and explain everything. i have to tell her i ran away , got kicked out of school , and she's gonna come get me and bring me home. i'll be grounded from ever leaving my room again and im pretty sure my phone and laptop will be taken away from me and given to my step niece as a christmas present. great just great. i look at my phone. better get his over with (m- mom)

h- no i attended a school up here thats why its been taking most of my money that im saving to go home

h- yes and i have a place to stay and i have a bunch of people helping me enjoy my stay here. i even made piece with the lynches and i think im dating ross now

she hangs up furious with me. i sit down on the sidewalk and cry. i came so far . i was gonna marry ross. i was gonna stay in california if he wanted me to. i was gonna be the maid of honer at andy and haleys wedding. i risked hannah's and haley to come here. this is all my fault . i can't believe im so selfish . i have to tell them. but right now. im gonna sit here and cry. im gonna cry until im out of tears. then i'll tell everyone and cry somemore . but all i can do right now is cry.
