2 days after the incident, the village already back to normal. 2 of the wounded had gain their consciousness. Rin was standing in front of door of a small house, looked at the ground. She took a long breath.

Knock...knock...

An old man opened the door. He was smiling at the girl figure in front of him, knowing this day will come.

"Get in, Rin" he said. Rin followed the old man to enter the house.

"Jii-san, sorry for interrupting you. I have a request"

The old man is the chief village. He will turn 90 this year. He is so wise and kind. That was hoe Rin see him all this time. Since her father died, he also took care of Rin.

"You want to leave this village, don't you?" asked the old man. Rin 's eyes widened.

"Why do you know, Jii-san?"

"Arata told me about it before he died that his daughter will go on a journey someday to help a young man who lost his body parts, I don't understand what he said until 2 days ago"

Rin started to cry. She remembered her father, it also hard for her to leave Jii-san.

"Don't cry, Rin. I care for you as my own daughter. I will tell you know, the truth about your father's dead"

Rin stopped her tears. Shocked about what Jii-san said. The truth about her father dead? She did know that her father death because of an illness? And whats the truth?

"Actually, your father was killed by a demon in the forest" Rin didn't believe what she heard.

"What??"

"We found his corpse beneath the Banyan tree, and big spider's leg. Seems that the spider was a demon. The wound match it caused by demon's attack"

Rin was speechless. Her will to go hunting demon with Hyakki and Dororo become strong. The demon killed her father? She will find that demon and killed it.

Rin asked for leave to Jii-san. She hugged him for the last time, she will take her leave at noon.

"Please tell the villager about my leave, Jii-san. I couldn't stand to see their sad faces, and take care of yourself"

The young man with black coat was waiting for Rin outside. He played with the pebble. Jii-san saw him and their eyes met, jii-san was bowing to him, as he said "took care of Rin".

"Come on, Hyakki nii" the young man followed her. They were walking through the rice field. Rin's tears didn't stop to fall. Hyakki felt that the girl in front of him was crying. He stand in front of her to blocked her way.

"What?" Rin asked. Hyakki clapped his hand on her cheek and erased her falling tears.

"Haha, fine. I wont cry" Rin smiled. She touched his hand, a few minutes later Hyakki let go of his hands. They continued to walk, Rin told Hyakki about what she talked with Jii-san before. Although she knew Hyakki maybe wont respond.

"Aniki, Rin-nee" Dororo saw them walking toward him. Rin asked him to help Sakuya help the wounded to go home and also packed the needs for their leave.

At noon, they already prepared for everything. Sakuya took them to the village gate.

"Promised me you will be back someday" said Sakuya, trying to hold his tears.

"Please take care of yourself, Sakuya. You're my best friend" Rin hugged him.

And with that las goodbye, 3 of them take their leave. Until their figure faded away, Sakuya's tears started to fall. He already knew about Rin will leave someday from the chief village since he was a kid. He said he will be marrying Rin someday, but the chief village turned him down. He just spent his precious time with you since today. He hope will see you again.
